397 fecal samples were collected from dogs of different breeds, ages and
sex. Detection of rotavirus was achieved by two techniques latex
agglutination test and agar gel diffusion test. Blood samples were
collected to study various hematological parameters.
The results showed that 95 samples were positive to rotavirus 23
samples (24.2%) were from diarrheic cases and 72 samples (75.8%)
were from non diarrheic cases.
Younger dogs were more affected with rotavirus infection 17 positive
cases than older ages 6 positive cases. The results showed that diarrheic
cases caused by rotavirus were 23 cases (25.3%) that were less than the
diarrheic cases caused by other agents 68 cases (74.7%).

shadow and water bodies for high-resolution satellite images (4-
meter) of Baghdad city, have been modulated the equations of the

The transverse electron scattering form factors have been studied for low –lying excited states of 7Li nucleus. These states are specified by J? T= (0.478MeV), (4.63MeV) and (6.68MeV). Objective: Atorvastatin therapy is now recommended for reduction of cardiovascular risk in type 2 diabetic patients (T2DM), based on convincing evidence of reductions in mortality and vascular events in major clinical outcome trials. The aim is to evaluate the effects of atorvastatin on proinflammatory markers (TNF-α, IL-6), HbA1c andleptin in obese patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods: Sixty fivenewly diagnosed T2DM patients were randomly allocated into 2 groups; group I treated with metformin only; in group II atorvastatin was added with metformin. Shell model and Hartree-Fock calculations have been adopted to study the elastic and inelastic electron scattering form factors for 25Mg nucleus. The wave functions for this nucleus have been utilized from the shell model using USDA two-body effective interaction for this nucleus with the sd shell model space. On the other hand, the SkXcsb Skyrme parameterization has been used within the Hartree-Fock method to get the single-particle potential which is used to calculate the single-particle matrix elements. The calculated form factors have been compared with available experimental data.

The fluorescence emission of Rhodamine 6G (R6G) and Acriflavine dyes in PMMA polymer have been studied by changing the irradiation and exposure time of laser light to know the effect of this parameter. It was found that the fluorescence intensity decreases in the polymer samples doped dyes as the exposure time increases and then reaches stabilization at long times, this behavior called photobleaching, which have been shown in liquid phase less than solid phase. Five additives were used in this work namely: tetra ethyl ammonium tribromophenyl phosphine (I), tetra ethyl ammonium chlorodibromophenyl phosphine (II) chlorinated rubber (III), a mixture of 50% by weight of each of I and III (additive IV), a mixture of 50% by weight of each of II and III (additiveV) in order to study the synergetic effect of these compounds as flame retardants with epoxy and unsaturated polyester resins.

     The linear non-polynomial spline is used here to solve the fractional partial differential equation (FPDE). The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. The tensor products are given for extending the one-dimensional linear non-polynomial spline to a two-dimensional spline  to solve the heat equation. The study involved 120 women, who were distributed into two groups of breast tumor patients (30 malignant and 30 benign) and a group of controls (60 women). The patients were referred to the Center for Early Detection of Breast Tumor at Al-Alwayia Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics (Baghdad) during the period June-December 2011. They were investigated for the frequency of ABO blood group phenotypes, menopausal status, oral contraceptive use, body mass index and family history of breast cancer or other cancers.
