The Specific activity of extracellular superoxide dismutase (EC-SOD) was measured in healthy persons and in patients with benign and malignant brain tumors. The results show decrease of the EC-SOD specific activity in sera of patients with benign and malignant brain tumors in comparison to that of control group.

yeasts which cause vaginitis in Iraqi women and it’s relationship with the age .The
result revealed that the bacterial pathogens which isolated from genital tract
identified as: Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Gardnerella viginals
,Klebsiella oxytoca ,Staphylococcus aureus and Proteus mirabilis. The results of

Concentrations of P137PCs were measured in 40 samples that have been selected from the surface soil in cities of Ramadi, Fallujah, Heet and surrounding areas. The activity of P137PCs in seven dust storms that hit the area western of city of Ramadi within the period 1/3/2013-1/10/2013 was measured also. The concentration in soil ranges between (below detection level-14.5) Bq.kgP-1P, while it ranges between (7.5-8.8) Bq/kg in the dust storms. The dose due to exposure to the cesium in surface soil was estimated to be ranged between (0.4-7.7) *10P-2P mSv.yP-1P while the effective doses due to inhalation of resuspended P137PCs was about 1.61*10P-8P and the doses caused by inhalation of P137PCs in dust storms is ranging between (8.13-9.54)*10P

     This study is conducted to detect lumpy skin disease virus in Babylon, Al-Qadysia and Al-Muthana governorate during autumn 2014 using conventional polymerase chain reaction. A total of 150 specimens: 50 whole blood samples, 50 skin nodular biopsies and 50 tick samples were collected from infected animals of different breeds, genders and ages during lumpy skin disease outbreak. The results revealed that 104 cases (69.33%) were positive for lumpy skin disease virus by using polymerase chain reaction, with significant (P<0.05) differences between positive and negative cases. In this paper, Au NPs prepared by pulsed laser ablation in liquid (PLAL)  with different laser energy (200, 360,500,660 and 800 m J) with number of pulses (1000pulse), at wavelength 1064 nm, and repetition rate of 1Hz. The structural, morphological and optical properties were discussed. XRD spectra showed the diffraction peak. AFM showed the average diameter. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short, non-protein-coding RNA molecules, typically 18–24 nucleotides in length. Dysregulation of miRNAs may contribute to the disease phenotype.

In this paper a new schema of Arabic CAPTCHA is proposed to generate Arabic characters and numbers by using generators that combines more than one LFSR via a non-linear function to produce the binary sequence, this random binary sequence is converted to be Arabic characters and numbers to be used for Arabic CAPTCHA, to ensure the randomness, each generator output is analyzed via randomness analysis using National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) statistical test suite.

Two local bacterial isolates were isolated from agriculture soil contaminated with cypermethrin from AlAbaeje village in Baghdad city, these fields were already sprayed with cypermethrin for past few years. Primary screening was done to test bacterial ability to growth and resistance to cypermethrin by using nutrient agar plates containing 500 mg L^-1 cypermethrin as a sole source of carbon and energy, and incubation at 37 ºϹ for 72 hours.
