Twenty clinical and fecal samples (ten clinical samples from patients attending to
Imam Ali Hospital and ten chicken faeces samples collected from local poultry farm
in Baghdad city) collected during December 2015, for isolated Klebsiella
pneumoniae. All K. pneumoniae isolates were extended-spectrum β- lactamase
producers and biofilm formation. The activities of two selected K. pneumoniae
isolates for their biofilm formation and susceptibility to antibiotics after treatment
with several plants extracts were investigated. The results of water and 60% ethanol
extracts for Matricaria chamomile flowers, Alhagi maurorum leafs, Syzygium

Background: Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL) is commonly associated with disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) and early correction of coagulopathy is of vital importance. All Trans-Retinoic Acid (ATRA) is considered to be the drug of choice in the treatment of APL.
Objective: The work was conducted to 1- Identify patients with APL who show laboratory evidence of DIC.
2- Study the serial changes in haemostatic parameters in APL patients treated with ATRA and to compare their results with those treated with conventional chemotherapy without ATRA.
Subjective and methods: In this prospective study (from October 2003 to October 2005), 44 newly diagnosed, untreated APL patients were included. A

Background: The aim of the study was to determine the prevalence of CMV infection among HIV / AIDS patients in relation to disease progression, and to study the mortality during the period of the study.
Patients and Methods: The study included 155 HIV/AIDS patients (148 HIV- infected and seven AIDS patients) and 122 apparently "healthy" controls. CMV (IgG and 1gM) antibodies were determined by ELISA. The patients were followed up for a period of nine months, and retested frequently for development of active CMV infection.
Results: The prevalence of CMV (IgG) antibodies in the HIV/AIDS patients was 100%. A significant higher prevalence of CMV (IgM) among AIDS patients (42.9°/6) than among HIV infected

The frequency dependent noise attenuation (FDNAT) filter was applied on 2D seismic data line DE21 in east Diwaniya, south eastern Iraq to improve the signal to noise ratio. After applied FDNAT on the seismic data, it gives good results and caused to remove a lot of random noise. This processing is helpful in enhancement the picking of the signal of the reflectors and therefore the interpretation of data will be easy later. The quality control by using spectrum analysis is used as a quality factor in proving the effects of FDNAT filter to remove the random noise.

Steganography Technique using Genetic Algorithm

Steganography is a useful technique that helps in securing data in communication using different data carriers like audio, video, image and text. The most popular type of steganography is image steganography. It mostly uses least significant bit (LSB) technique to hide the data but the probability of detecting the hidden data using this technique is high. RGB is a color model which uses LSB to hide the data in three color channels, where each pixel is represented by three bytes to indicate the intensity of red, green and blue in that pixel. In this paper, steganography based RGB image is proposed which depends on genetic algorithm (GA). GA is used to generate random key that represents the best ordering of secret (image/text) blocks to b

The gland is supplied by collateral branch from common carotid artery and innervated by branch from the thoracic vegal trunk and directed from the recurrent nerve. Most frequently used models for modeling and forecasting periodic climatic time series do not have the capability of handling periodic variability that characterizes it. In this paper, the Fourier Autoregressive model with abilities to analyze periodic variability is implemented. From the results, FAR(1), FAR(2) and FAR(2) models were chosen based on Periodic Autocorrelation function (PeACF) and Periodic Partial Autocorrelation function (PePACF). The coefficients of the tentative model were estimated using a Discrete Fourier transform estimation method. FAR(1) models were chosen as the optimal model based on the smallest values of Periodic Akaike (PAIC) and Bayesian Information criteria (PBIC). The residual of the fitted models was diagn
