The protective effect of red cabbage extracts against hyperthyroid induced by Lthyroxine
in male rabbits was studied. Forty animals were divided randomly into
four groups. Group A: Healthy rabbits, Group B: Healthy rabbits received (100
mg/kg.b.w) red cabbage extract, Group C: hyperthyroid rabbits were given an oral
dose of (20μg/kg b.w) L-thyroxine once daily for four weeks to induce
hyperthyroidism and group D: hyperthyroid rabbits received red cabbage extract. At
the end of the experiment, blood samples were taken for biochemical analysis. The
obtained results revealed that hyperthyroid rabbits induced by L-thyroxine had
significant increase(P<0.01) in serum levels of triodothyronine (T3), Thyroxine

Two simple, sensitive, accurate and economic methods A and B have been developed for the quantitative estimation of vancomycin hydrochlorid (VHC) and its formulations using another two drug compounds as a coupling reagents.The proposed methods are based on a coupling reaction between VHC and diazotized procain (method A) or diazotized sulphacetamide sodium (method B) in alkaline medium to form intense yellow, water-soluble dyes that are very stable and have a maximum absorption at 447 and 439 nm for methods A and B respectively. Regression analysis of Beer’s law plots showed good correlation in the concentration ranges 1-28 and 1-45 μg ml-1 for methods A and B, respectively with a molar absorbtivity of 4.605×104 L mol-1cm-1 and 4.516

In this paper a two dimensional numerical simulation have been applied using
MATLAB program for generating Fraunhofer diffraction pattern from different
apertures. This pattern is applied for three types of apertures, including, circular,
square, and rectangular functions, and it's could be generated any wavelength in the

The crystals protein of local isolate Bacillus thuringiensis were purified by using
aqueous two phase system method in two steps ; the first 94% of crystals protein and
spores were separated from cell dibbers by using 14% g/ml ammonium sulphate and
4% g/ml of Polyethylene glycol 6000 at pH=7 with separation time of 30 min.
While in the second step, crystals protein were purified from spores by using a
system consisted of 8% g/ml Dextran 60000-90000 and 9% g/ml of Polyethylene
glycol 6000 at pH=7 with separation time of 2.5 h. the a final yield was 70.6% with
purity of 92%

Maize (Zea mays L.) seeds were subjected to accelerated aging treatment for, 3,
7, and 14 days at 45 ±1 C° and 100% relative humidity. These artificially aged seeds
were compared to control (Unaged seeds) for evaluation of vigor in seeds.
Accelerated aging of Maize seeds up to three days had significant effect on
germination percentage & solute leakage. However, further increase in aging period
caused an increased in solute leakage and a decrease in germination percentage.

from the culture supernatant .The purification procedure involved precipitation by
ammonium sulfate (50% saturation ) and analyzed by sodium dodecyl sulfate- poly
acrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), ( 159.4) fold purification was achieved

The approximate solution of a nonlinear parabolic boundary value problem with variable coefficients (NLPBVPVC) is found by using mixed Galekin finite element method (GFEM) in space variable with Crank Nicolson (C-N) scheme in time variable. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the suitability of water resources, for various purposes in the Dujaila River, Wasit Governorate-central Iraq. Physical and chemical properties have been investigated for 9 surface samples of the period August 2015- March 2016.
