The computer vision branch of the artificial intelligence field is concerned with
developing algorithms for analyzing image content. Data may be compressed by
reducing the redundancy in the original data, but this makes the data have more
errors. In this paper image compression based on a new method that has been
created for image compression which is called Five Modulus Method (FMM). The
new method consists of converting each pixel value in an (4x4, 8×8,16x16) block
into a multiple of 5 for each of the R, G and B arrays. After that, the new values
could be divided by 5 to get new values which are 6-bit length for each pixel and it
is less in storage space than the original value which is 8-bits.

The presence of the "calcite eyes" is related to an internal physiological reason rather than genetically reason or parasite inhabitation. The individual of this family tries to create open spaces in the areas of its body intensively crowded by the main partition or its branches to avoid oxygen scarcity (dysoxic condition). This mechanism keeps the living matter in touch each to the other as well as continuity of the animal life. In this paper, thirty six samples of canned vegetables were collected randomly from
different markets in Baghdad city from October 2013 till March 2014. The study
includes identifying the concentration of some heavy metals (lead, nickel, zinc and iron)
by flameless atomic absorption spectrophotometery. It was found that the higher
concentrations of heavy metals in canned vegetables, was lead 1.179 ppm in olive,
nickel 0.9078 ppm in olive, while zinc 10.143 ppm green peas and iron 90.601ppm in

This paper is primarily concerned with analysing speech acts as a sequence manifested in Reagan’s First Inaugural Speech. It aims to analyse the whole five forms of speech acts pragmatically in identified political speech, as described by Searle, 1969 (assertive, directive, commissive, expressive and declarative). To this end, a mixed method research is used. Qualitative part is used to describe and analyse types of speech acts in the selected data using a proposed model of two theories.
