Field observations revealed the occurrence of volcaniclstic units (pyroclastic
units) within the Muqdadyia Formation (Pliocene) in Injana area, southern Hemrin
anticline; these rock-units located along Tayawi, Magrin and Zarloukh sections and
has been called as a volcaniclastic unit of Muqdadyia Formation.
the facies analysis for the volcaniclastic units is part of succession which was
deposited in a fluvio-laucustrine environment. This succession is divided into eight

The results of the present investigation indicated that exposing the eggs of Dacus ciliatus to incremented doses of gamma ray, showed that eggs were highly sensitive. The hatchability was significantly reduced with the increase of doses, in comparison with the control treatment.
The negative effect of irradiation was continued to the subsequent developmental stages, and on adult emergence and longevity. The dose of 10 Gy reduced significantly the fecundity and hatchability at all mating types, and there was no potential to induce complete sterility in the emerged adults. Strong acids were determined via the precipitation reaction of loaded copper (II) ion on strong cation exchange resin which in turn reacts with potassium hyxacyano ferrate (II). The attenuation effect of formed precipitate Cu2 [Fe (CN) 6] on (0 -180o) incident LED light was measurement via homemade AYAH 5SX4-ST-5D solar CFI analyser. Optimum parameters were 0.005M.L-1 [Fe(CN)6]-4 , flow rate of 2.4 mL.min-1 , sample volume 204 μL , sample purge time of 64 seconds was chosen, and 1.6 V for light intensity. The cytosine deaminase was extracted by using organic solvent toluene and the value of specific activity of crude extract was (9.6) mu/mg protein . The enzyme was purified in few steps including precipitating the enzyme by using ammonium sulfate at defferent saturation percent, The optimum percent was 60% saturation percent which gave value of specfic activity of (12.5) mu/mg protein fold of purification was (1.302) times and the yield was 4.82% . Calculation of cross section forρmeson production in real photon proton interactions has been carried out in terms of Regge theory. The amplitude of is used for calculating the coupling of the exchanged particle at the photon - vector meson vertex. We only need to replace the coupling of the pion to quarks by the coupling of the exchanged particle to quarks. This coupling has been fixed by the experimental data. The present study was carried out to evaluate the biological effects of chitin synthesis inhibitor, applaud (Buprofezin); on immature stages of mosquito, Culex quinquefasciatus. The study showed that the chitin synthesis inhibitor applaud caused biological effects represented in molting failure of larva to subsequent phase or to pupal stage, pupa to adults and mortality. The percentage of the effects differed depending on concentrations used; significantly increased with increasing of concentrations. Pomegranate peels were used to remove zinc, chromium and nickel from industrial wastewater. Three forms of these peels (fresh, dried small pieces and powder) were tested under some environmental factors such as pH, temperature and contact time.
The obtained results showed that these peels are capable of removing zinc, chromium and nickel ions at significant capacities. The powder of the peels had the highest capability in bioremoving all zinc, chromium and nickel ions while dried peels had the lowest capacity again for all metals under test.
