In this study 77 human isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were obtain from different clinical sources. The results showed that the number of isolates producing α-hemolysin was 32 isolates (41.55%) , while non- hemolysin producing was 45 isolates (58.45%) .The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of methicillin which were 32 micrograms \ ml. The Upper Campanian-Maastrichtian succession in Buzurgan oil field of Southeastern Iraq consists of Hartha and Shiranish formations. Three facies associations were distinguished in the studied succession. These include shallow open marine environment within the inner ramp, deep outer ramp and basinal environments. The Hartha Formation in the study area was deposited on a shallow carbonate platform with distally steepened ramp setting. The studied succession represents two 3rd order cycles. These cycles are asymmetrical and start with cycle A which is incomplete where the lower part of the Hartha Formation represents the deep outer ramp facies of the transgressive system tract.and the upper part of the Hartha Formation reflects deposition

A total of 100 clinical sample from (urine, sputum and swabs of wound , burn and ear) were collected from patients in different hospitals of Baghdad during the period from December 2013 to May 2014. 15 isolates (15%) identified belong to Acinetobacter baumannii, swabs of wounds were represented in high percentage of A.baumannii isolates (40%) while percentage of other samples were variable. Eight isolates of P. aeruginosa were obtained out of 90 water samples. The isolated colonies were identified based on their morphology and biochemical characteristics, were confirmed as P. aeruginosa by the API 20E test system.

In this work the gelling time of silica alkoxide obtained by sol-gel process has been investigated. The Investigations are made with three variable parameters: water to TEOS molar ratios (1.4, 2, and 10), different pH values and reaction temperatures (25, 40 and 55 ◦C). The study shows that, the reaction temperatures have different effects on the gelling time according to other sol-gel preparation parameters. The values of the activation energy (Ea) were estimated to be approximately the same in the studied range of initial hydrolysis ratio 1.4, 2, 10, slightly varying around 21.2 kJ.mol-1, when the recipes derived under tightly closed cover. While under open recipe and with R-ratio equal to 1.4, Ea rises to 37.2 kJ.mol-1.

In this article our goal is mixing ARMA models with EGARCH models and composing a mixed model ARMA(R,M)-EGARCH(Q,P) with two steps, the first step includes modeling the data series by using EGARCH model alone interspersed with steps of detecting the heteroscedasticity effect and estimating  the model's parameters and check the adequacy of the model. Also we are predicting the conditional variance and verifying it's convergence to the unconditional variance value. The second step includes mixing ARMA with EGARCH and using the mixed (composite) model in modeling time series data and predict future values then asses the prediction ability of the proposed model by using prediction error criterions.

In this Research, (In₂O₃: CdO) films were prepared using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method on glass substrate at room temperature deposited at laser influence 500mJ/cm²with different shoots N= (200,300,400,500and600). the structural, and the optical properties and the films are studied with different annealing temperatures (523and 623) K. Optical measurements and the films were analyzed by UV-VIS absorption spectra. The structural properties of samples were investigated by x-ray diffraction patterns of the films and show that the films and polycrystalline Structure with all shoots. Transmittance spectrum found is equal to 93.17%, refractive index range is 1.635 and energy gap range is 2.75-3.15ev.
