Show MorePolycrystalline Indium oxide (In2O3) and Indium oxide-zinc oxide (IZO) thin films mixed with 10% ZnO content were prepared by spray-pyrolysis technique at relatively low substrate temperature (150 ˚C).Field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) shows that the nanostructure at 10% ZnO content has pyramid like structure. The hall effect measurements show that the prepared samples have n-type charge carriers .The films were examined as gas sensor against H2S gas at different operating temperatures (200, 250 and 300) oC, and it was found that the IZO sample a good sensitivity to H2S gas ~ 572 % at operating temperature 200 oC, with relatively fast response time of 19 s and recovery time of 17

Show MoreDissolved oxygen, phytoplankton, and zooplankton populations represent the basis of the proposed mathematical model designed to investigate the impact of the depletion of dissolved oxygen in the plankton ecosystem. The dynamic analysis of the model is devoted to locating all possible equilibrium points. The analysis demonstrates that three equilibrium positions are possible. The existence of the Hopf-bifurcation for the interior equilibrium is investigated using the phytoplankton's photosynthesis-produced oxygen rate as the bifurcation parameter. Conditions for stable limit cycles are obtained. In conclusion, a numerical simulation is shown as evidence to support the analytic results.

The bentonite was found to be a good receptive to the adsorption of Cd under specific laboratory conditions. The sorption capacity for Cd onto bentonite was investigated through the variation in pH and initial Cd2+ concentration. The sorption efficiency onto bentonite was examined as a function of pH, initial ion concentration, equilibrium reaction time and solid mass/ liquid volume ratio. The sample of plant waste (Rice husk) was tested to determine its activity which gives the best performance in heavy metals removal and other pollutants (TSS, TDS and COD). Adsorption tests showed all tested plant adsorbents had significant heavy metal removal efficiency. The best removal efficiency 96.56% of Cr was occurred at pH 6.5 and 5hrs.
