In present study, an attempt has been made to investigate the effect of Chlorpyrifos insecticide on carp Cyprinus carpio L. through acute toxicity bioassay. The LC50 were estimated as 1897, 1266, 985 and 792 μg/L during 24 , 48, 72 and 96 hr. respectively by using the concentrations 500 , 1000, 1500 , 2000, 2500 and 3000 μg/L indicating high sensitivity of fish to chlorpyrifos. The behavioral response observed in the fish were erratic swimming, loss of reflex, hyperactivities, decrease in appetite secretion of mucus, increase movement of operculum and hyperventilation . These effects increased with increasing concentration of the chlorpyrifos and duration of exposure.

Abstract This research investigates how activated carbon (AC) was synthesized from potato peel waste (PPW). Different ACs were synthesized under the atmosphere's conditions during carbonation via two activation methods: first, chemical activation, and second, carbon dioxide-physical activation. The influence of the drying period on the preparation of the precursor and the methods of activation were investigated. The specific surface area and pore volume of the activated carbon were estimated using the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller method.       This paper aims to introduce a concept of an equilibrium point of a dynamical system which will call it almost global asymptotically stable. We also propose and analyze a prey-predator model with a suggested  function growth in prey species. Firstly the existence and local stability of all its equilibria are studied. After that the model is extended to an optimal control problem to obtain an optimal harvesting strategy. The discrete time version of Pontryagin's maximum principle is applied to solve the optimality problem. The characterization of the optimal harvesting variable and the adjoint variables are derived. Finally these theoretical results are demonstrated with numerical simulations.

The effect of diode laser radiation 805nm on the viability of some types of Gram negative and Gram positive pathogenic bacteria (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumonia, Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enteritidis and Bacillus cereus) was studied. These types of bacteria were irradiated at 0.94, 2.01 and 2.76 Wat for 1 minute as an exposure time of laser radiation. The results showed that this type of laser radiation had an inhibition action on E. coli, S. pyogene, B. cereus, and S. aureus and a stimulation effect on S. enteritidis and K. pneumonia. In both cases, the effect was dose-dependent.

Due to the Geographical links, language is one of the multiple affects among Arabs and Turks. As the different studies demonstrate, Turkish contains many words derived from other languages, yet Arabic remains the language that has great affects on Turkish. Unlike Turkish language, Arabic is a derivative language that requires no suffixes. Thus, Arabic verbs are tuned into Turkish verbs by adding auxiliary verbs. The present study traces some of the Turkish compound words of Arabic roots with an explanation that shows the Auxiliary added to form the Turkish verb as found in the stories of Otman Chevek Sawy’s Like A voice in the Dark. The conclusion sums up the findings of the study illustrated by numbers.
