Enhanced oil recovery is used in many mature oil reservoirs to increase the oil recovery factor. Surfactant flooding has recently gained interest again. To create micro emulsions at the interface between crude oil and water, surfactant flooding is the injection of surfactants (and co-surfactants) into the reservoir, thus achieving very low interfacial tension, which consequently assists mobilize the trapped oil.

The first aim of this paper was to evaluate the push-out bond strength of the gutta-percha coating of Thermafil and GuttaCore and compare it with that of gutta-percha used to coat an experimental hydroxyapatite/polyethylene (HA/PE) obturator. In this paper, an eco-epidemiological model with media coverage effect is proposed and studied. A prey-predator model with modified Leslie-Gower and functional response is studied. An  -type of disease in prey is considered.  The existence, uniqueness and boundedness of the solution of the model are discussed. The local and global stability of this system are carried out. The conditions for the persistence of all species are established. The local bifurcation in the model is studied. Finally, numerical simulations are conducted to illustrate the analytical results.

The present study combines UV-Vis spectrophotometry and dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) for the preconcentration and determination of trace level clidinium bromide (Clid) in pharmaceutical preparation and real samples. The method is based on ion-pair formation between Clid and bromocresol green in aqueous solution using citrate buffer (pH = 3).
