Ovarian cancer has a high mortality and delayed diagnosis. Several immunological alterations take place during ovarian carcinogenesis, and can be of value in the surveillance of the diseases. This research was conducted to evaluate serum immunoglobulin levels in women with ovarian cancer and to assess their role in disease process. The present study is composed of 85 women (mean age = 62.03±12.4 yrs) with clinically and pathologically confirmed ovarian cancer and 65 healthy females as a control group (mean age = 61±12.1 yrs). Wetland of South Iraq (locally called Ahwar) are discussed in this study for their evolution, natural characteristics, human settlements and their development to evolve first world civilization as well as their use in present days with case studies to correlate their character for including the site in the world heritage list. Correlations of the characteristics of this site with the unesco criteria of 2005 for selection to be included on the world heritage list are performed in this study. It is concluded from these correlations that this site is of outstanding universal value that meets at least four unesco criteria of criteria's 10, 9, 7 and 2 for inclusion on the world heritage list. Reading his poetry, it can be noticed that time is important where he frequently refers to day and night, morning and evening as time insinuations.
