The level of liver enzymes and kidney functions in pregnant women in the second trimester of pregnancy at different age groups was determined. This study is composed of fifty pregnant women in the second trimester of pregnancy and were classified into two subgroups; first group included twenty-five pregnant with an age between 22-30 years, a second group included twenty-five pregnant with an age 35-42 years. A control group included twenty-five non-pregnant, healthy women was also included. Blood samples were obtained from each group, centrifuged, serum was collected from each group to measure liver enzymes (AST, ALT and ALP) and kidney function tests (urea and creatinine) were measured using enzymatic kits. Mammalian cell culture refers to culturing mammalian cells in a medium that provide nutrients for cells to be able to grow in vitro under environment that closely mimic the in vivo conditions. By enabling culturing these cells outside living biological entities, investigation on intra- and intercellular activities and flux; genetic and phenotyping analysis; proteomics, study of toxicology, drug discovery and development can be carried out without manipulation of living animals. In this chapter, detail protocol of media preparation, cell culture maintenance and preservation are elaborated for both types of mammalian cell culture, monolayer or suspension cultures. Determination of number of cells is discussed as well.

Effect of aqueous extract of Brassica rapa roots on three types of cancer cell lines; Hep-2, AMN-3 and Hela was studied in vitro.
The results showed that, the cytotoxic effect of extract dependent on type of cells, amount of dose and exposure time.
The concentration 1250 μg/ml gave higher growth inhibition , were ( 63 and 42 ) % to ANM-3 and Hep-2 respectively comparied with control 100% after 24 hours from exposure time , but inhibition gowth of Hela cells was 64% by 10000 μg/ml crud roots extract for 24 hours.
Exposure time for 48 hours reduced the percentage of inhibited growth٫ only by
10000 μg/ml for extract; viability was 25 % for ANM-3 cells.

Typical image cryptographic systems provide security by encrypting entire image. This has the advantage of simplicity, but does not allow for fine-grained protection of data within very large image files, which is very important in some applications where some but not all the image is sensitive or classified.
In this paper, a new method is proposed for securing parts of the image (i.e. sensitive information). It's the most important medicinal herb, which is widely distribution in IRAQ and used in folklore medicine. The phytochemical investigation of the plant was designed to evaluate alkaloid contente in berries, leaves and roots. The aim of this study was to assess the nutrition status for students samples at the age of 18- 35 years, these samples were taken from Karbala university, 142 of them were male and 318 were female. Date on weight, height and body mass index (BMI) were determined for each individual. This samples were taken in order to record their nutritional behavior and daily food intake during the 24 hours prior to the visit through personal meeting using special questionnaire. In this work, an organic semiconductor of copper (II) phthalocyanine (CuPc) and Tris(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (III) (Alq3) were entirely dissolved in chloroform with various mixing ratios (1:0,0.75:0.25,0.5:0.5,0.25:0.75,0:1) (w/w) to make thin films. They were deposited on a pre-cleaned glass using a spin-coating process and heat-treated at 473 K in vacuum. X-ray diffraction and a scanning electron microscope were used to investigate the films. XRD analysis reveals that CuPc/Alq3 composites have a polymorphic structure, with the exception of Alq3's amorphous structure, the crystallinity increases after annealing, but decreases when the concentration of Alq3 is increased. ABSTRACT Background: One of the challenges to use chlorhexidine is its effect on the amount of microleakage after restoration; however, use of the materials with antibacterial properties after tooth preparation and before restoration has been widespread. The objective of this, in-vitro, study was to evaluate the influence of consepsis (chlorhexidine gloconate disinfectant) application on microleakage in class II cavities restored with light cured composite using universal adhesive system; etch and rinse technique –self etch technique. Materials and Methods: Forty class II cavities were prepared on mesial and distal surfaces of 20 non-carious mandibular third molars. The cavities were divided into four groups; (n =10 for each group).
