Trophozoites of Entamoeba histolytica were isolated from a stool sample, and then cultivated and maintained axenically by using Locke-egg medium (LEM). The effect of supplementation of two different milk sources on the growth and activity of the parasite was investigated. The first source which is an animal (bovine milk) and the second is plant source (coconut & soybean milk). densities for sunlit leaves, the radiation flux densities for shaded leaves, and the

One hundred and sixty one serum samples collected from pre-marital women in Baghdad province, without any clinical evidence of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection, were screened for the presence of IgG and IgM antibodies against CMV by ELISA test. The IgG antibodies were detected in 58 which gave prevalence rate of 36%, while the IgM antibodies were detected in 16 (9.9%). The aim of this paper is to present method for solving high order nonlinear ordinary
differential equations with initial conditions using semi-analytic technique with
constructing polynomial solutions. The original problem is concerned using twopoint
osculatory interpolation with the fit equal numbers of derivatives at the end
points of an interval [0, 1] and give example illustrate suggested method and
accuracy, easily implemented. The accuracy of the method is confirmed by
compared with conventional methods ( RK4, RK-Butcher, DTM ).

In this work 27 events have been chosen for the period from (17 Feb 2000 to 10 Sep 2014) to analyze their intensity profile and find out what is the most effective reason behind the bulk of the accelerated SEPs as seen in the interval from the onset to the maximum intensity. The present study was conducted to determine the optimum conditions required for lipase enzyme activity extracted from germinated sunflower seeds, including temperature, pH, agitation, time of incubation, enzyme concentration, substrate type, and concentrations of mineral salts and EDTA. Optimum pH, temperature and time of incubation required for lipase stability were also determined. Previous data indicated the effectiveness of silibinin as intraocular pressure (IOP) - lowering agent. The present study was performed to evaluate the interaction of silibinin with pilocarpine or cyclopentolate in lowering IOP in normotensive rabbits. The effects of topically instilled silibinin hemisuccinate solution (0.75%) alone or adjunctly combined with 2% pilocarpine or 1% cyclopentolate on the IOP of normotensive rabbits were evaluated using indentation tonometry. The results showed that 0.75% solution of silibinin was found more potent than pilocarpine (2% drops) in lowering IOP of normotensive rabbits, while their combination results in longer duration of action. The aim of this study wase focusing some light to detect the cytogentic effects of zinc oxide through using cytogentic analysis (Mitotic index and chromosomal aberrations on the somatic and sex cells and sperm head abnormalities) on Balb/c mice.
Ninty eight male mice were used in this study, these animals were divided into two groups the first one was the controlling groups and the second one was. Treated with Zinc Oxide.
The results showing that the Zinc Oxide causes an inhibition of mitotic index in somatic and sex cells and the inhibition increased by augmenting the concentration, where the effect was significant (P<0.01) , and the effect of doses were significant (P<0.05), in both kinds of cells.

We present the design of a pulsed ammonia laser, which is optically pumped by a TEA CO2 laser. The effect of addition of buffer gases to the ammonia gas laser (such as N2, He and Ar with different mixing ratios) on the output energy and pulse width of the laser was studied. It was found that N2 gas was preferable among the other additives as it provides highest output pulse energy and increasing the laser efficiency. The addition of N2 gas helped also in obtaining more than 40 ammonia laser lines around the 12μm, which was step tunable in the spectral range of (762-968 cm-1).

In this research study, the indoor concentrations of heavy metals in shisha smoke café sites was investigated, samples were taken from two café sites (site1, site 2) which differ in their volume.
