In this study, 60 urine samples were collected from healthy volunteer individuals (both males and females) residing in the Tuwaitha region (aged 20-60 years) and compared with 30 urine samples from individuals living in another area of Baghdad, far from AL- Tuwaitha nuclear site (aged 20-60 years). The uranium concentration of these samples was measured using a solid-state nuclear track detector CR-39. The results indicated that the average uranium concentration for the Tuwaitha group was 0.507±0.032μg/L, which is higher than the permissible limits set by the World Health Organization, which is 0.3μg/L. Aloin extracted into alcohol-rich phase with high extraction efficiency,
meanwhile majority polysaccharides, proteins, mineral substances and other

effect in Aqueous tow –phase system [ATPS]. Aloin was partially purified by using
1-propanol [NH4] 2SO4, the use of this solvent showed high efficiency 90.61%
compared with other solvent [2-propanol and ethanol]. The concentration of aloin

Pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) is a major pregnancy complication that causes pregnant women mortality. Here, we had scrutinized the correlation between serum levels of -hCG and biochemical parameters in PIH. Serum samples were collected from eighty Iraqi women (forty women with pregnancy-induced hypertension as patients group, twenty normotensive pregnant women as a positive control, and twenty normotensive non-pregnant women as a negative control) all groups were diagnosed clinically. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory polyarthritic disease associated with remissions and exacerbations and characteristic genetic, clinical, pathological, and immunological features. The Yamama Formation is a significant reservoir in the southern part of Iraq. This formation consists of limestone deposited throughout the Lower Cretaceous period within main retrogressive depositional series. This study aims to identify the impact of the diagenesis processes on the reservoir’s characteristics (porosity and permeability). This study aims to investigate the Iraqi EFL Arab and Kurdish University students’ ability to recognize the stressed (full or strong) forms and the unstressed (reduced or weak) forms within connected speech of English.

   The fatigue is one of the major reasons for fracture of materials.  Aluminum 7204 AA alloy with various heat treatments and (2.0) wt % of SiC nanoparticles  were prepared by stir-casting method  under rotating bending loading with ratio of stress (R= -1).      The nuclear density distributions and size radii are calculated for one-proton ⁸B, two-proton ¹⁷Ne, one-neutron ¹¹Be and two-neutron ¹¹Li halo nuclei. The theoretical outlines of calculations assume that the nuclei understudy are composed of two parts: the stable core and the unstable halo. The core part is studied using the radial wave functions of harmonic-oscillator (HO) potentials, while the halo is studied through Woods-Saxon (WS) potential.     The present work aims to evaluate the content of some toxic metals in chemical and organic fertilizers purchased from local markets in Baghdad, Iraq. The analysis was performed by laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) system.           In this work, the optical emission characteristics of the ZnO plasma were presented. The plasma parameters: electron temperature (T_e), electron density( n_e), plasma frequency (f_p) and Debye length (λ_D) were  studied with  a spectrometer that collects the spectrum ZnO plasma in air produced by Nd:YAG laser,(λ=1064 nm) at ratio X=0.5 in the range of energy of (700-1000 mJ), duration (10 ns).
