Objective: to assess the Nursing College students' health-protective behaviors (HPBs) and their
association with some sociodemograghic characteristics.
Methodology: A sample of 100 Students (males and females) was selected through a systematic
random sample that were at the third and fourth year of Nursing College in Baghdad University for the
period of April 1st through April 30th 2007. Data were collected through the use of a self-report
instrument that used for Americans as HPBs assessment that contains 23 items. Reliability and validity
of the tool were determined through a pilot study. A descriptive statistical approach (frequencies and

extracts of Plantago lanceolata leafes in vitro and in vivo by inducing urinary tract infection in
rats which caused by urethra administration of S.saprophyticus isolated from human and

One way to synthesis texture in a fast and easy way is image quilting proposed by Efros and Freeman in
2001. This research brings the adaptive search power of genetic algorithm and combines it with the
concept of image quilting to propose new texture synthesis algorithm. The proposed GA is ran on many
different images from standard texture sets. Visual comparison of our proposed GA with image quilting
algorithm is considered. The texture results generated by the proposed GA are roughly comparable in

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of adding 3, 5 and 7 wt. % of TiO₂ microparticles to conventional GIC powder (Riva Self Cure) on mechanical properties and its effect on absorption and solubility processes.
