A simple all optical fiber sensor based on multimode interference (MMI) for chemical liquids sensing was designed and fabricated. A segment of coreless fiber (CF) was spliced between two single mode fibers to buildup single mode-coreless-single mode (SCS) structure. The incidence of gross ovarian diseases were survid by studying 500 specimens obtained from Babylon slaughter house. The results of the study indicated that the incidence of the ovarian hypofunction (15.2%) was the highest, followed by cystic ovaries (2.8%), whereas the incidence of the ovarobursal adhesions was low (1.8%), while that of the parovarian cysts and cystic corpora lutea were lowest (1%). Four photosensitizers were used to test inhibitory effect of Helicobacter pylori bacteria using
low power helium: neon red laser radiation. Biopsies were collected from 176 patients and H. pylori were
isolated, identified and bacterial suspension was prepared. Samples of this suspension were mixed with
various low concentrations of the test sensitizer. The mixture samples were exposed to different laser
radiation doses. The samples were then inoculated and the inhibition zones were studied and compared
