As result of exposure in low light-level are images with only a small number of
photons. Only the pixels in which arrive the photopulse have an intensity value
different from zero. This paper presents an easy and fast procedure for simulating
low light-level images by taking a standard well illuminated image as a reference.
The images so obtained are composed by a few illuminated pixels on a dark
background. When the number of illuminated pixels is less than 0.01% of the total
pixels number it is difficult to identify the original object.
The relative dielectric permittivity (dielectric constant) values for various materials are measured on site. The calculated values that are derived from measuring the ratio of the electrical capacitance of a cell when the sample of the material is placed. Parallel plate technique that consists of two parallel circular metallic plates is used. The instrument made up of aluminum which acts as electrodes and stuffed inside the PVC cylinder. Then the thin sheet of material (models) sandwiched between the two plates. Calculation of dielectric constant (εr) through this new technique gives a new velocity value of electromagnetic wave that propagates underground. These measured velocity values will utilize in Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) da

attention when dealing with slow computer networks. This paper introduces the design
and implementation of a transparent compression system that can be utilized by
Microsoft Windows to compress data exchanged among the computers through a Local
Area Network (LAN). On each machine, this system transparently intercepts outgoing IP
packets and compresses them. As well as it will transparently intercept incoming
compressed IP packets and decompresses them.
