Printed Arabic document image retrieval is a very important and needed system for many companies, governments and various users. In this paper, a printed Arabic document images retrieval system based on spotting the header words of official Arabic documents is proposed. The proposed system uses an efficient segmentation, preprocessing methods and an accurate proposed feature extraction method in order to prepare the document for classification process. Besides that, Support Vector Machine (SVM) is used for classification. The experiments show the system achieved best results of accuracy that is 96.8% by using polynomial kernel of SVM classifier.

Micro wind turbines are generally used in remote locations, and it is difficult and expensive to repair faults which forced the need for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis which has not been used extensively for small turbines. The present study was conducted to biocontrol in vitro and in vivo of Fusarium
oxysporum that cause Fusarium wilt diseases for eggplant plants by using biological
control agent fungus Trichoderma harzianum. Fourteen isolates from F. oxysporum
were isolated and identified from two fields in Iraq. Pathogenicity test indicated that
all F. oxysporum isolates were pathogenic for eggplant but differed in its level of
pathogenicity. Four of the fourteen isolates from F. oxysporum were selected
depending on their highest pathogenicity for eggplant plants, F. oxysporum four
isolates F5, F6, F13 and F14 achieved at pre emergence 83.3%, 83.3%, 86.7% and
83.3% and at post emergence 90.0%, 90.0%, 83.3% and 76.7% respectively.

The aim of this research was to find out how the UAE society views people who have recovered from addiction. The data was gathered using a scale with positive and negative statements based on four fundamental axes: First and foremost, how do community members react to a recovering addict in general?  Second, the extent to which recovering addicts are accepted in various social communities. Third, the presence of stigma or rejection by community members when dealing with a recovering addict. And fourth, the effect of the interaction of gender and age level on the attitudes of the sample members toward recovering addicts.

Radiological assessment due to existing of natural occurring radioactive materials
(NORM) in South Rumaila oil field was achieved in this study. Different samples
including soil, sludge, scale, oil, and water were collected from different stages of
oil and gas production in Markazia Degassing Station (SDS) in South Rumaila oil
field. Radioactivity of Ra-226, Th-232 and K-40 were measured using gamma
spectrometry system based on HPGe detector with efficiency of 30%. The results
show that some locations within SDS are contaminated with NORM. The activity of
Ra-226, Th-232 and K-40 range between 18.4 to 312.8, 9.4 to 140.8 and 66.4 to

Ericson’s formula describes the partial level density (PLD) of pre-equilibrium reactions and corrections. PLD with pairing correction can be calculated using four methods, namely, pairing, improved pairing, exact Pauli and back shift energy corrections. The variations in the PLD values of each of the four formulas of strontium (⁸⁸Sr), Yttrium (⁸⁹Y) and Zirconium (⁹⁰Zr) isotones have been examined. In this paper, the pure graphene oxide and copper phthalocyanine-tetrasolfonic acid tetrasodium salt were used to prepare thin films by using the spin coating method. These chemical compounds have remarkable optical properties and are chemically used in the development of device sensors by increasing the mixing ratio. Three different mixing ratios were prepared at room temperature and 150^oC annealing temperature for three hours. The spectra of UV-VIS-IR absorption, photoluminescence, and Fourier-transformed infrared (FT-IR) were studied.

The effect of thickness variation on some physical properties of hematite α-Fe2O3 thin films was investigated. An Fe2O3 bulk in the form of pellet was prepared by cold pressing of Fe2O3 powder with subsequent sintering at 800 . Thin films with various thicknesses were obtained on glass substrates by pulsed laser deposition technique. The films properties were characterized by XRD, and FT-IR. The deposited iron oxide thin films showed a single hematite phase with polycrystalline rhombohedral crystal structure .The thickness of films were estimated by using spectrometer to be (185-232) nm.
