الخلفية: ان الحاجة للتقنيات المساعدة على الانجاب لعلاج حالات العقم في تزايد مستمر, لذلك اصبح من الضروري ايجاد التقنيات الافضل للحصول على النطف ذات النوعية الجيدة من حيث الحركة وسلامة الاحماض النووية  والتي تؤدي الى الحصول على اجنة ذات نوعية جيدة ايضا مع امكانية  حصول نسبة زرع  اعلى لهذه الاجنة في الرحم.

    The aim of this work is to study the histological and histochemical structure of the Harderian gland in indigenous pigeons. Samples were obtained from 10 males and 10 females of adult healthy pigeons. Hematoxylin and eosin, Alcian blue (pH 2.5), periodic acid-Schiff and promo phenol blue, stains were used for paraffin section examination. The gland was teardrop like in shape, light brown to pink in color, capsulated with thin connective tissue. Estimation of runoff volume and peak runoff is necessary for designing and operating the dams. One of the accepted models for estimating the runoff is HEC-1 model. Two methods were used in this study to estimate the runoff in Goizha-Dabashan watershed, 2.02 km2, Rational method and Soil Conservation Service curve number method (SCS-CN). Satellite image from Landsat-7 (ETM+) was used to develop land use and soil type maps. AlPO4 solid acid catalyst was prepared in order to use it in transesterification reaction of edible oil after supporting it with tungsten oxide. The maximum conversion of edible oil was obtained 78.78% at catalyst concentration (5gm.), temperature 70°Ϲ, 30/1 methanol/edible oil molar ratio, and time 5hr.
