Natural bentonite (B) mineral clay was modified by anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and characterized using different techniques such as: FTIR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-Ray diffraction (XRD).     In this paper, we calculate the electron energy distribution function (EEDF) and transport parameters including the electron mean energy, mobility, drift velocity and diffusion coefficient for the gas mixtures of the H₂ and N₂ using the EEDF program. It is concentrated on the effect of assorted concentrations of the mixtures on the EEDF and the electron transport coefficients. The work exhibits the variation amongst the different mixtures on the EEDF and the transport parameter. The results are graphically offered and discussed. The statistical test was applied to annual monthly mean of temperatures for the period (19932009).  Application of a Fe-bentonite nano clay (Fe-BNC) as modified clay has been investigated for the removal of birlliant green (BG) from aqueous solutions. Atomic force microscope measurements give a detailed information on pore shape and pore size distribution about the clay. These measurements show that the average diameter of the improved clay is 346.84 nm. Batch adsorption experiments were carried out for the removal of (BG) from aqueous solutions onto Fe-BNC.       Equilibrium data were fitted to Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm equations and the isotherm constants were determined.  The aim of this work  is to evaluate concentrations of  natural and artificial radionuclide  in nine different samples of condiments from local markets.     The concentrations of 238 U , 232 Th ,40k  and 137Cs  were measured by using gamma spectroscopy with a high- purity germanium detector. The concentrations of 238 U, 232 Th ,40k  and 137Cs   were found to be in a range of  (21.4 - 91.13), (15.7 - 88.11) , (285.56 – 1100) and (5.1 - 27.5) Bq.kg-1  respectively. Objective: To assess pregnant women Knowledge toward Urinary Tract Infection at Kirkuk City.

Methodology: A descriptive and analytical study was conducted from 1st of November 2013 and up to the 19 th of August 2014 in five typical primary health care centers at Kirkuk City. A Probability (randomly sample) was used to select the sample of 180 women aged (15-44) years. A questionnaire format was used as a tool for data collection , content validity of the questionnaire achieved through reviewing it by (24) experts in numerous scientific fields and reliability of the questionnaire was determined through a pilot study. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data.

             The polymeric hydrogels composed of poly vinyl alcohol (m.wt 72000) and glutaraldehyde(5%,8% and 10%) , have been thermally prepared for the purpose of studying their swelling and drug  release behavior .      The swelling ratio was measured for all the hydrogel samples at 37°C, in three different media pH (1.2, 4.7 and 6.8) as a function of time. The results show  that the maximum swelling ratios were arranged as follows :pH =6.8 >  pH =4.7 > pH =1.2 hydrogels cross linked PVA showed a typical pH  responsive behavior such as high pH has maximum swelling while low  pH  shows minimum swelling.
