LAS is the basic material in the industry of liquid and solid detergents, the adsorption of LAS achieved in the concentration 50-1000 mg.l-1.
The adsorption efficiency on bentonite was modified using a cationic surfactant which is Cetyl Pyridinium Bromide (CPB), that raised the adsorption percentage Q(%) from 36% for free bentonite to 81% for modified bentonite at 298 K using 250 ppm LAS solution.

This method is based on the diazotization reaction of metoclopramide hydrochloride with sodium nitrite in hydrochloric acid medium; the formed diazonium salt is then coupled with phenol in sodium hydroxide medium, to form a yellow water-soluble mono azo dye. ABO locus gene was amplified by using two sets of specific primers for ABO locus as a whole. Different thicknesseses of polycrystalline ZnTe films have been deposited on to glass substrates by vacuum evaporation technique under vacuum 2.1x10-5 mbar. The structural characteristics studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed that the films are polycrystalline and have a cubic (zinc blende ) structure. The applicability and performance of the artificial neural networks are investigated by predicting river discharge one and two days ahead for Gharraf River, south of Iraq. Gharraf River system is located at southeast Iraq within Mesopotamian Plain. A multilayerd percpetron artificial neural net is selected to achieve experiments which trained by using back-propagation algorithm. Three models are presented firstly to explore the affect of the previous discharge on the specified discharge. Random Amplification of Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis was used in this study to direct the attention toward increasing the efficiency of early diagnosis of breast cancer in clinical laboratories at Iraq using recent PCR-dependent protocols and investigate DNA polymorphisms in addition to the detection of genomic markers. In this research, production of ethanol from waste potatoes fermentation was studied using Saccharmyses cerevisiae. Potato Flour was prepared from potato tubers after cooking and drying at 85°C. Homogenous slurry of potato flour was prepared in water at solid liquid ratio 1:10. Liquefaction of potato flour slurry with α-amylase at 80°C for 40 min followed by saccharification with glucoamylase at 65°C for 2 hr .Fermentation of hydrolysate with Saccharomyces cerevisiae at 35°C for two days resulted in production of 33 g/l ethanol.

Shiranish formation has been divided into two microfacies units: 1 - Many biowackestone facies and 2 - maly packstone using planktonic foraminifera and other carbonate components in the rock cutting and core slides. Microfacies reflect marin deep shelf margin in the lower part of the formation, the upper part was deeper. The thickness of the formation is determined, depending on addition to the presence of echinoderm framents debris and spines.
