LAS is the basic material in the industry of liquid and solid detergents, the adsorption of LAS achieved in the concentration 50-1000 mg.l-1.
The adsorption efficiency on bentonite was modified using a cationic surfactant which is Cetyl Pyridinium Bromide (CPB), that raised the adsorption percentage Q(%) from 36% for free bentonite to 81% for modified bentonite at 298 K using 250 ppm LAS solution.
The effect of adding three kinds of inorganic salts was studied; the salts were Pb(NO3)2, MgSO4, and CaSO4 in the concentration range (100-400) mg.l-1, The results showed a negative effect on the sorption process.
The effect of pH on the sorption of LAS on clay showed that the highest sorption on bentonite was at pH 9, The thermo

The Investigation of Monitoring Systems for SMAW Processes

The monitoring weld quality is increasingly important because great financial savings are possible because of it, and this especially happens in manufacturing where defective welds lead to losses in production and necessitate time consuming and expensive repair. This research deals with the monitoring and controllability of the fusion arc welding process using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model. The effect of weld parameters on the weld quality was studied by implementing the experimental results obtained from welding a non-Galvanized steel plate ASTM BN 1323 of 6 mm thickness in different weld parameters (current, voltage, and travel speed) monitored by electronic systems that are followed by destructive (Tensile and Bending) and non

SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF METOCLOPRAMIDE HYDROCHLORIDE IN TABLETS BY DIAZOTIZATION AND COUPLING REACTION WITH PHENOL

A rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method is proposed for the determination of metoclopramide hydrochloride. This method is based on the diazotization reaction of metoclopramide hydrochloride with sodium nitrite in hydrochloric acid medium; the formed diazonium salt is then coupled with phenol in sodium hydroxide medium, to form a yellow water-soluble mono azo dye. Beer’s law is obeyed in the concentration range of 1 – 20 μg mL-1 at 463 nm with detection limit 0.406 μg mL-1. The molar absorptivity and Sandell’s sensitivity were found to be 2.42 × 104 L mol-1 cm-1 and 0.0015 μg cm-2, respectively. Common excipients used as additives in tablets do not interfere in the proposed method. The method is successfully employed for

This paper is devoted to the study of the peristaltic transport of viscoelastic non-Newtonian fluids with fractional Maxwell model in an inclined channel. Approximate analytical solutions have been constructed using Adomain decomposition method under the assumption of long wave boundary layer type approximation and low Reynolds number. The effect of each of relaxation time, fractional parameters, Reynolds number, Froude number, inclination of channel and amplitude on the pressure difference, friction force and stream function along one wavelength are received and analyzed.

ABO locus gene was amplified by using two sets of specific primers for ABO locus as a whole. The first set includes the primer pair (1 and 2) that was used for the amplification of 200 bp DNA fragment, which contains the nucleotide 261. The second set includes the primer pair (3 and 4) that was used to amplify a 128 bp DNA fragment, which contains the nucleotide703. Nucleotides 261 and 703 were used to distinguish A , B, O alleles by restriction enzyme digestion of the PCR products. The amplified DNA products were then run on 2% a

The Structural and Optical Properties of Zinc Telluride Thin Films by Vacuum Thermal Evaporation Technique

Different thicknesseses of polycrystalline ZnTe films have been deposited on to glass substrates by vacuum evaporation technique under vacuum 2.1x10-5 mbar. The structural characteristics studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed that the films are polycrystalline and have a cubic (zinc blende ) structure. The calculated microstructure parameters revealed that the crystallite size increases with increasing film thicknesses. The optical measurements on the deposited films were performed in different thicknesseses [ 400 , 450 and 500]nm, to determine the transmission spectrum and the absorption spectra as a function of incident wavelength. The optical absorption coefficient (α) of the films was determined from transmittance spectra in t

Abstract

Nowadays, the adoption of economic unity on the accuracy of financial reporting is very important. Economic units need accurate financial reporting to be more competitive and to improve the performance. Management can also achieve financial information in real time through the application of ERP systems. This system will facilitate management to access the most up-to-date information such as planning, monitoring and evaluating the business processes of the organization to be more effective.

On the practical side, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system was applied to the General Company for Vegetable Oils to demonstrate a course in enhancing the accuracy of financial reporting.

The goals of automatic adaptation of segmentation parameters in this research are to provide continuous adaptation to normal environmental variation conditions such as (time of day, weather) to exhibit learning capability and to provide robust performance when interacting with a dynamic environment. The research intended to adapt the performance of a well known existing segmentation method (Recursive region growing Algorithms) across a wide variety of environmental conditions which cause changes in the image characteristics and maximizes the segmentation quality measures.
