Bac kground:: Septal deviation is one of the commonest anatomical deformities of the nasal skeleton, this deviation is usually accompanied by compensatory hypertrophy of the inferior turbinate on the concave side that will accentuate the severity of nasal obstruction.

One hundred fecal samples were collected from cattle and sheep from 3 completely different area in Baghdad city (Al-Tarmiyah, Al-Fudhaliyah, AbuGhraib). Our data recorded a total amoebiasis infection rate of 54% in cattle and 50% in sheep, without any significant differences between them. Males showed higher infection rates than females in cattle and sheep (62.5%) and (57.14) respectively. Humanin (HN), a mitochondrial-derived peptide with cytoprotective functions, has not been thoroughly investigated in the bull gonad. This study characterized the developmental localization of HN in the bull testis and its relationship with hormonal status, oxidative stress, and key miRNAs. An age dependent HN expression pattern was seen by immunofluorescence examinations of testicular tissues from pre-pubertal, puberty, mature, and aged bulls. The standard Computed Torque Control (CTC) is an important method in the robotic control systems but its not robust to system uncertainty and external disturbance. The proposed method overcome the system uncertainty and external disturbance problems. In this paper, a robustification term has been added to the standard CTC. The stability of the proposed control method is approved by the Lyapunov stability theorem. The performance of the presented controller is tested by MATLAB-Simulink environment and is compared with different control methods to illustrate its robustness and performance.

Carbides or nitrides thin films present materials with good mechanical properties for industrial applications as they can be coatings at low temperatures serve temperature sensitive surfaces. In this work the effect of the C percentage on the mechanical properties represented by the Young modulus (E) of combinatorial magnetron sputtered TiCx (34%x˂65%) has been studied. The structure of the produced films is TiC independent on the C concentration. The mechanical properties are increased with increasing the C concentration up to 50%, and then decreasing with further C % increasing. These results can be explained by considering the resultant residual stresses.
