Background: Automobile spray painting is considered an occupation with a high risk of respiratory impairment and asthma. Exposure to organic solvents used for spraying might be of high risk for development of dysfunction in other organs.

Sulfamethoxazole (SMX) was added to P-N,N-dimethyl amino benzaldehyde (PDAB) by condensation reaction in acidic medium to form, a yellow colored dye compound which exhibits maximum absorption (λmax) at 450.5 nm. The concentration of (SMX) was determined spectrophotometrically. The optimum reaction conditions and other analytical parameters were evaluated.    The di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) was extracted using different solvents from plastic blood bag. The extracted product was identified using FT-IR, NMR (1H and 13C), DEPT, COSY, HMBC and HSQC_TOCSY spectrometry. The extracted plasticizer was tested in complex formation with Fe2+ and Cr3+ using UV-visible spectrophotometric method. The thin films of cadmium oxide (CdO) were deposited using the SILAR (Successive ionic layer absorption and reaction) method at various deposition cycles. CdO thin films were made on glass substrates at a temperature of  95°C, using a cadmium acetate source material and an ammonium hydroxide solution. One of the main criteria that impact the quality of thin films is the number of deposition cycles. The size of the crystals decreases with the increase in the number of cycles from 33.7 nm at the immersion cycle 10 to 22.7 nm at the immersion cycle 20, as shown by the X-ray diffraction results.
