Sepsis is a major cause of death worldwide among hospitalized patients, however, an accurate and advanced identification method is associated with improved sepsis patient survival. This Retrospective study carried out in Sulaimani pediatric teaching hospital from January 2014 to July 2015 and aimed to compare the effectiveness of VITEK 2 system with traditional manual procedures for identification of pathogenic bacteria in patients with a serious disease like sepsis. In this paper an improved weighted 0-1 knapsack method (WKM) is proposed to optimize the resource allocation process when the sum of items' weight exceeds the knapsack total capacity .The improved method depends on a modified weight for each item to ensure the allocation of the required resources for all the involved items. The results of the improved WKM are compared to the traditional 0-1 Knapsack Problem (KP). The proposed method dominates on the other one in term of the total optimal solution value of the knapsack .

In this study we synthesized the new compounds containing bis-1,3,4-thiadiazole
3(A-D)n through many eaction steps (cyclization, diazotiazation and etherification
respectively). The compounds have been characterized by melting point, FTIR and
1HNMR data. All the synthesized compounds have been evaluated in vitro for their
antimicrobial activities against several microbes like: Escherichia coli, Klebsiellia
pneumonia, Pseudomonas aerugenosa, Serratia marscens and Staphylococcus aureus
and the results showed that some of these compounds have very good antibacterial

A total of 1712 samples of children feces were collected from the Central Child Hospital and examined by direct and concentration methods (zinc sulfate and sucrose) during the period from 01/10/2011 to 19/10/2012. The ages of children were ranging between one month and 15 years.The results of the current study showed that the rate of infection overall was 18.72% and there was a variation in the infection rate between the age groups, reaching the highest incidence in the age group (1- 5 years old). This study was aimed to treat the hydatid disease that caused by the larval stage of
Echinococcus granulosus using two water plant extracts (leaves of Myrtus communis,
seeds of Nigella sativa). The effect of these extracts had been studied on the viability of
E. granulosus protoscolices in vitro using five concentrations of each of them ranging
between ( 30,35,40,45,50)mg\ml for the plants extracts, The preliminary results revealed
that M. communis extract was the most effective in killing the protoscolices in vitr than
N.sativa in comparison to the control group.

aimed to evaluate the initiation of immune response in patients with acute
lymphoblastic leukemia. Blood samples were collected from 36 patients with ALL
(26 treated and 10 untreated ). Other 10 blood samples were collected from healthy

Aqueous and alcoholic extracts of lawsonia inermis were tested for their antimicrobial activity ;four types of bacteria were selected these are Staphylococcus aureus;Escherichia coli;Enterococus faecalis and Pseudomonus aureginosa .Minimal Inhibitory Concentration(MIC) were determined for both aqueous and alcoholic extracts ; the aqueous exracts was more potent than alcoholic extract regarding MIC 8-64mg/ml and 32-64mg/ml for aqueous and alcoholic extracs respectively .All the selected bacteria showed clear sensitivity for those extracts except the Escherichia coli showed more and greater .

via electrochemical anodization process of pure titanium foil in glycerol base

The study was conducted on twenty dogs from variety breeds to estimate the
incidence of tumor mass and determine the risk factors of survey to cases of a year
in veterinary hospital in Baghdad. The most common clinical signs were, ulceration,
bleeding into lesions in addition to drowsiness, anorexia, fever and the others were
depended tumor's location in dog's body like lameness, lacrimation and bloody
constipation etc.
The results showed 70% of the infected dogs were working with military forces
and 30% of them were pet dogs and we found that the highest percentage of tumor
accrued in dogs aged more than 10 years and the females recorded 60% of infection.
