Due to the great technical developments in the field of informational knowledge, technological and productive changes and intense competition among institutes in the era of globalization, focus of these institutes on the notion of total quality management has been increased. This study was done to find the effect of Tigris-Therthar channel on the water quality of Tigris River to face the climate change which causes decreasing in water resources, in addition to decreasing in its quality. Nine stations were chosen located on Tigris River, Tigris-Therthar channel, Groundwater, and Therthar lake. The results indicated that the TDS increased in summer season, and the effect of Tigris-Therthar cannel was limited, also the effect of groundwater was limited, but there was an indication refers of possibility of increasing these effects on the quality of water. The study recommends observing the Tigris River through a programme to identify any change in water in future.

Bedsore (pressure ulcers)is a major nurse-careoutcome. There are many influences that can contribute to the progress of pressure ulcers, but the final common pathway to ulceration is tissue ischemia. This study aimed to detect some etiological factors that predispose to bedsore.       In this paper, a modified three-step iteration algorithm for approximating a joint fixed point of non-expansive and contraction mapping is studied. Under appropriate conditions, several strong convergence theorems and Δ-convergence theorems are established in a complete CAT (0) space. a numerical example is introduced to show that this modified iteration algorithm is faster than other iteration algorithms. Finally, we prove that the modified iteration algorithm is stable. Therefore these results are extended and improved to a novel results that are stated by other researchers. This paper aims to investigate the exponential and Gaussian density profiles of the gaseous halo of the Milky Way galaxy for scale heights of |z| ≤ 1000 pc. The density profile of the neutral hydrogen HI and that of the ionized iron Fe II is considered. The data of different values of scale heights and central number density from the literature have been used in order to determine the density profiles. More specifically, six density profiles of HI and two density profiles of Fe II have been determined. In addition, the average of both cases has been calculated and the results showed that the density of neutral hydrogen is significantly higher than that of the ionized iron.   

Al-Salhubia, area is located within the arid region in southern Iraq. Although no surface water is available in this area, the groundwater is considered the basis in the area, it is available in both good quality and quantity. For that reason, it is of prime importance to examine water type in the unconfined aquifer to determine suitability of groundwater for irrigation purposes. The groundwater type in the studied area is Ca-Mg dominant SO4 facies according to Piper and Stiff diagrams. Based on SAR, Na%, RSC, EC, and PI, the groundwater quality in the study area is suitable for irrigation in general.

Cracking of soils affects their geotechnical properties and behavior such as soil strength and stability. In this paper, 2D Electrical Resistivity Imaging Method, as a non-invasive technique, was adopted to investigate the effect of soil cracks of a centemetric scale on resistivity of sandy soil. The electrical resistivity measurements were carried out using ABEM SAS 300C Terrameter system at a laboratory scale using Wenner array. The aim of this study was to detect the cytogenetic effect of sodium sulphate through using cytogenetic analysis ( mitotic index and chromosomal aberrations on somatia and germ cells ) and sperm head abnormalities on white mice .

The first one was the control group while the second was treated with sodium sulphate . Twelve Two-Dimension (2-D) survey points were performed by using Wenner-Schlumberger array configuration to take the measurements. The inverse models of two survey point appear the effect of the saline groundwater that raises from Rus Formation, which caused a significant reduction in resistivity of the groundwater-bearing zone within middle Dammam Formation along the fault plane.

Simple method has been used to determine the absence of heavy metals in an aqueous solution. Fluorescein was used as the base colorimetric materialThis was doped with CuCl2 and the final solution showeda clear change in color. This change was correlated with the change in both pH and electrical conductivity of the solution. The optical property as an obvious change of the spectra was observed. Therefore, this simple method could be proposed as a method to detectheavy metals in any solution.
