The two methods were used for calculation, zone method, and an integral method. الهدف: أجريت هذه الدراسة من أجل التحقيق في تأثير الشوتبلوكر على تقليل الألم المرتبط بالحقن العضلي (IM) لدى المرضى البالغين.

     The present study was aimed to check the amount of variation in some hematologic and biochemical parameters accompanied with natural acquired canine dirofilariasis. Blood samples were collected from sixty five stray dogs (5-10) years old belong to local breed dog in the villages of Al-Hindya area/ Karbala Governorate, The affected animal showed differences in hematological and biochemical values as compared with reference ranges. In conclusion, the disease showed no significant clinical signs although many pathological changes in some blood constituent with serum biochemical parameters were observed, before euthanasia for dogs.

Objective: To assess prospectively functional outcome of interlocked intramedullary nailing fixation in management of closed tibia shaft fractures. Methodology: This prospective study included 134 patients with closed shaft tibia fractures with age 18-60 years and isolated closed fracture of shaft of tibia.  In this work, the preparation of some new oxazolidine and thiazolidine derivatives has been conducted. This was done over two steps; the first step included the synthesis of Schiff bases A1-A5 in 72-88% yields by the condensation of isonicotinic acid hydrazide and aldehydes. The second step includes the cyclization of derivatives A1-A5 with glycolic acid and thioglycolic acid to obtain the desired products, oxazolidine derivatives B1-B5 (44-60% yields) and thiazolidine derivatives C1-C5 (41-61% yields), respectively. The structure of the prepared compounds was characterized using FT-IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Some of the produced compounds were tested for antioxidant properties.
