   In this study, the bacteria from sputum specimens of patients with respiratory tract infections were isolated in   IbnSina Teaching Hospital, Mosul city, Iraq.  The bacteria  were subjected to phenotypic and biochemical tests necessary for identification. The  study  concentrated  on  measuring  the  lipid  peroxidation marker malon di aldehyde (MDA) in sera of thirty five patients with minor Thalassemia  (Tm), thirty five with major Thalassemia (TM) and thirty five healthy control, their age ranged from (17-30) years. Erythrocytes  enzymes  (Glutathione  -S   - transferase  (GST  )and Catalase) were assayed . The results showed a significant elevation in (MDA) in sera of both patient groups compared to control.

Numerical results show that the new method is very efficient problems with high accuracy.

In the current study, the researchers have been obtained Bayes estimators for the shape and scale parameters of Gamma distribution under the precautionary loss function, assuming the priors, represented by Gamma and Exponential priors for the shape and scale parameters respectively. Moment, Maximum likelihood estimators and Lindley’s approximation have been used effectively in Bayesian estimation.

Based on Monte Carlo simulation method, those estimators are compared depending on the mean squared errors (MSE’s). The results show that, the performance of Bayes estimator under precautionary loss function with Gamma and Exponential priors is better than other estimates in all cases.

In this research note approximately prime submodules is defined as a new generalization of prime submodules of unitary modules over a commutative ring with identity. A proper submodule  of an -module  is called an approximaitly prime submodule of  (for short app-prime submodule), if when ever , where , , implies that either  or . So, an ideal  of a ring  is called app-prime ideal of  if   is an app-prime submodule of -module . Several basic properties, characterizations and examples of approximaitly prime submodules were given.
