Detection of Genetic Polymorphism in Iraqi Barley using SSR-PCR Analysis
...Show More Authors

Nine Iraqi varieties of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) has been differentiated and diagnosed using simple sequence repeat markers to detect their genetic polymorphism. Six SSR primers were used for genetic screening of barley samples (IPA 265, IPA 99, Tuwaitha, Hitra, Rayhan, Shuaa, Bawadi, Samir and Al_khair). These primers generated total PCR product (11) bands divided to 8 polymorphic bands 3 monomorphic bands. the percentage of polymorphism 80% ranged between (50-100%). a mean value of polymorphic band per primer was 1.6 . these primers produced amplification fragment at Molecular weight between 75-900 bp. One unique band was generated at size 200bp, this band can be used as a DNA profiling of all studied genotypes. These results appear

Fatigue Behavior of Modified Asphalt Concrete Pavement
...Show More Authors

Fatigue cracking is the most common distress in road pavement. It is mainly due to the increase in the number of load repetition of vehicles, particularly those with high axle loads, and to the environmental conditions. In this study, four-point bending beam fatigue testing has been used for control and modified mixture under various micro strain levels of (250 μƐ, 400 μƐ, and 750 μƐ) and 5HZ. The main objective of the study is to provide a comparative evaluation of pavement resistance to the phenomenon of fatigue cracking between modified asphalt concrete and conventional asphalt concrete mixes (under the influence of three percentage of Silica fumes 1%, 2%, 3% by the weight of asphalt content), and (chan

The Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations represent a great issue for the Arab-Arab relations. This relation is characterized by specificity for the tension since the foundation of the State of Kuwait until late. There are many factors that prevented the fulfillment of the aspiration towards the development of the relations, perhaps the most important of which is the issue of Mubarak Great Port which is a difficult issue as far as the relation between the two states is concerned. One year after Iraq put the cornerstone of the Great Faw Port. This is considered as the most important hurdle in front of constructing the relations with the neighbor Kuwait

Newly five polymers (P1-P5) were synthesized from reaction bis-1,3,4-oxadiazole bisphenolmonomer with five different di acid chloride. The antibacterial activity of the synthesized polymers was screened against gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Polymers P4 and P5 exhibited significant antibacterial against all microorganisms, as well these polymers showed highest antifungal activity.

The Synergistic Effect of Biosynthesized Copper Oxide Nanoparticles and Vancomycin on Biofilm Formation of <i>Staphylococcus</i> <i>haemolyticus</i>

The results indicated that the biofilm formed by each Staphylococcus haemolyticus isolate was inhibited by 52%–82%. The highest value of biofilm formation (before treatment) was seen in the case of isolate A39, followed by A49 with absorption values of (1.382 and 1.116), respectively. Bacterial cells are capable of catalyzing the biosynthesis process by producing reductive enzymes. These green synthesized inorganic nanoparticles have been frequently investigated as possible bactericidal agents. Our findings revealed that at sub-Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (Sub-MIC), Copper oxide nanoparticles and Vancomycin combinations showed remarkable biofilm inhibitory outcomes in wild-type strains of Staphylococcus haemolyticus <

There is a desperate need for extended versions of the classical distributions. There have been attempts to find novel families of probability distributions that widen existing families and provide great flexibility in data modeling in a number of application areas, including lifetime analysis, finance, and insurance. In this paper, we introduce a new family of distributions based on [0,1] Truncated and propose a new extension for the exponential distribution. The new distribution is called Truncated Nadarajah-Haghighi Distribution, symbolized with {[0,1]TNHE}. This study aims to derive some statistical properties for the new distribution, such as the quantile function, the mixture representation for the probability density function, the

Reproductive Dysfunction in Women with PCOS: A Review Article

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a significant cause of infertility due to ovulation dysfunction in women of childbearing age. Although the pathogenesis of PCOS is still not clear, many studies have shown that many factors within the ovary promote infection. With this syndrome, the disruption of the natural monthly ovulation process causes an imbalance in the body's hormones, and the high level of insulin in the body and the blood sugar imbalance leads to the occurrence of hyperandrogenism, which is the main factor for the occurrence of pathogens, in addition to genetic factors, if any. This study aims to identify this disease and its most important causes, symptoms, and modern treatments to prevent and get rid of it. Polycystic ovari

Utilizing mass spectroscopy, the molecular ion peak was found at m/e 310, confirming the formula weight for L2, which matches the estimated m+ value (310.12). Accordingly, its Mn (II) and Co (II) complexes were trainedusing glacial acetic acid as a catalyst. Depending on the needs and requirements of keeping up with the scientific procession, researchers tend to find new recurrence schemes or develop previous recurrence schemes that will help researchers reach the fixed point and solution of variational inequality. This article aims to provide novel approaches to finding a common fixed point of different types of important mappings and the set of zeros of maximal monotone operators. Also, we studied the weak and strong convergence of the proposed iterative method under some suitable conditions. To achieve this goal, we will introduce a new technical method of resolvent operators and metric projection using different types of function sequences, including sequence of maximal monotone operator

This indeed created an important issue in dental clinics first of all drug resistance and super infection. This was analyzed in our study and then the causes were identified and a plan suggested in recommendation hope that it will minimize the outcomes. Results: all those patients were finally subjected to be clinically diagnosed and treated this lead to only one fact, these antibiotics are not effective in one way or another since they are not prescribed by dentist

The set of all (n×n) non-singular matrices over the field F this set forms a group under the operation of matrix multiplication. This group is called the general linear group of dimension n over the field F, denoted by GL(n,F). The determinant of these matrices is a homomorphism from GL(n,F) into F* and the kernel of this homomorphism was the special linear group and denoted by SL(n,F). Thus SL(n,F) is the subgroup of GL(n,F) which contains all matrices of determinant one.

This article talks about a model of fractional differential equations to describe how COVID-19 is spread in the world in general and Iraq in particular. The model contains five fractional differential equations. Moreover, we have proven the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the model, found the equilibrium points of the model and checked its stability. Then we solved it using a fractional linear multi-step method. When we compare the results with the data documented by the World Health Organisation (WHO), we find that the total number of active cases in the world are equal to 584498294 on 3/8/2022, and it is similar to what was done with the system.
