To study the comparative use of some soil minerals (zeolite, bentonite, phosphate rock, and limestone) in the adsorption and release of lead and its removal rates from its aqueous solutions using adsorption equations. Two laboratory experiments were carried out for the adsorption and release of lead. The adsorption experiment took 0.5 g of some of the above soil minerals. Lead was added as Pb (NO3)2 at levels of 3.0, 2.0, 1.5, 1.0, 0.5, and 0.0 mmol L-1 containing a concentration of 0.01M of calcium chloride. Acitretin is the major metabolite of etretinate , an aromatic retinoid that formerly was approved for Psoriasis by exhibiting  vitamin A activity.  Acitretin was wildly used to improve plaque psoriasis  and also for postural psoriasis and  erthrodemic psoriasis .The present study focus on the evaluation of the common  side effects of acitretin which makes a wide hesitation for Iraqi dermatologists to use it in treatement of psoriasis. Twenty  psoriatic outpatient were treated with a dose of 25mg/ day for three continuous months in outpatient clinic of al- noor hospital during 2009 , their lipid profiles , liver and kidney function tests before starting treatment with acitretin considered as a control values.

Teeth with various depths of white spot lesions were immersed in either splat mouthwash, Biorepair mouthwash, Sensodyne mouthwash, or artificial saliva (control)twice daily for one minute for 4 weeks and 8 weeks at 37°C. In this research, damping properties for composite materials were evaluated using logarithmic decrement method to study the effect of reinforcements on the damping ratio of the epoxy matrix. Three stages of composites were prepared in this research. The first stage included preparing binary blends of epoxy (EP) and different weight percentages of polysulfide rubber (PSR) (0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10%). It was found that the weight percentage 5% of polysulfide was the best percentage, which gives the best mechanical properties for the blend matrix.
