Literacy events extract meaning from many sources including written ones. EFL learners might not be aware of the several activities, other than learning, that can help improve their language skills. The current quantitative descriptive study investigated the utilization of English sources outside the classroom. A total of (48) participant answered the survey of this study. The results of the study showed few participants use the target language in their daily life while the majority of the sample use literacy events outside the classroom with a variety of impact of developing their language domains. The study is important for Iraqi EFL teachers because it can be helpful in designing extracurricular activities in the EFL classroom.

One of the most interesting issues in the study of language is the relation between language and gender. A lot of studies have been conducted so far to find out if men speak and write differently from women. The present study is also an attempt in the same area but it considers gender differences in love poetry. It aims to find out the differences between male and female poets in their love poems. The data of the study consists of three male love poems, and three female poems. Leech and Short's (1981) checklist is used as a framework to analyze the selected love poems. The findings of the study reveal that there are differences between male and female poets with regard to lexical categories, grammatical categories and figures of speech.<

     The aim of this study was to investigate the seroprevelance of Toxoplasma gondii in camels and horses in Wasit province and to determine the seroprevalence of Toxoplasmosis in certain animals farm in Wasit province, also this study included the extent of the disease in camels and horses within two months starting from the January until February of 2015. A total of 184 samples were collected of them 92 horses and 92 camels. The results showed that the incidence of Toxoplasma gondii in horses was 18.4%, in camels 20.6% and the infection percentage of females were more than that males in both horses and camels 21.1 and 20.2%, respectively.
