Comparing the maximum strength of the static and eccentric pectoral muscles of the quadriceps as an indicator of injury in professional football players
...Show More Authors

The aim of this study was to predict the risk of hamstring (posterior quadriceps) muscle injury associated with weakness in eccentric muscle strength. The Prone ISO and Nordic tests were performed using the NordBord system from VALD to compare isometric and eccentric contractions of the same muscle group, namely the hamstring muscles, in professional soccer players competing in the Iraqi Stars League. The mean value of the Prone ISO test, which represents maximal isometric contraction, was 353.8 N, whereas the mean value of the Nordic test, which represents maximal eccentric contraction, was 288.6 N. This difference indicates a potential risk factor related to insufficient eccentric contraction capacity of the hamstring muscles. The find

Breast cancer is highlighted in recent research as one of the most prevalent types of cancer. Timely identification is essential for enhancing patient results and decreasing fatality rates. Utilizing computer-assisted detection and diagnosis early on may greatly improve the chances of recovery by accurately predicting outcomes and developing suitable treatment plans. Grading breast cancer properly, especially evaluating nuclear atypia, is difficult owing to faults and inconsistencies in slide preparation and the intricate nature of tissue patterns. This work explores the capability of deep learning to extract characteristics from histopathology photos of breast cancer. The research introduces a new method called SMOTE-based Convolut

Enhancing the functional efficiency of vital components (hemoglobin) to cope with the substantial accumulation of lactate, and improving the efficiency of muscle fibers during high-intensity exertion and pronounced intramuscular lactate buildup—along with increasing these fibers’ capacity to generate the required energy through lactate removal and breakdown during high-intensity training—constitutes a key factor in developing performance endurance. Among the most effective exercises that create these conditions are lactate-resistance training methods. The first aims to elevate lactate to maximal levels without excessive accumulation within muscle fibers, while the second seeks to raise intensity with increased accumulation in order
