Electrochemical decolorization of direct black textile dye was studied in the presence of sodium
hydroxide (NaCl). Electrochemical cell occupy about 1 liter of working electrolyte supplied with graphite
electrodes for both anode and cathode was constructed for this purpose. Decolorization percent, treatment time, power consumption, and pH were studied as a function of the applied voltage and salt concentration. Results show that decolorization increase with increasing salt concentration and applied voltage. Best decolorization of 86% can be achieved after 17 min at 7 volt and 5 g/l salt concentration. This study aimed to show the histological changes that 0ccured in Culex pipiens pipiens larvae and adults infected with Beauveria bassiana . The 4th instar larvae and adult mosquitoes were infected with B.bassiana in 10-4 spore/ml dilution, after 96 hours histological section was studied showing that the fungi infected all the body parts specially Cuticle , Epiderms, fat bodies and midgut. After 120 hours of exposure to the fungi the insect have a white appearance and covered with a thick coat of hyphea. Thus study shows biological control of B .bassiana on mosquitoes.

This paper is focused on studying the effect of cutting parameters (spindle speed, feed and depth of cut) on the response (temperature and tool life) during turning process. The inserts used in this study are carbide inserts coated with TiAlN (Titanum, Aluminium and Nitride) for machining a shaft of stainless steel 316L. Finite difference method was used to find the temperature distribution. Patients and Methods: Eighty-six outpatients with heart disease with intention to fast were studied in the month of Ramadan 2010 (1430 H) at the Ibn Al-bitar Hospital. In this work, optical system with elliptical aperture using point spread function was studied. This is due to its comparison with an optical system with a circular aperture. The present work deals with the theoretical study of intensity distribution within the image. In this work, a special formula was derived which is called the point spread function (PSF) by using a pupil function technique. The work deals with the limited optical system diffraction only (ideal system), and the system with focal shift. Also a graphic relation was founded between eccentricity and the best of focal depth given to at least (80%) of intensity.

  A factorial experiment was conducted at the laboratories of the College of Agriculture – Kerbala University during 2016. The aim was inhibitory efficiency for some aqueous and alcoholic extracts of Cumin, Fenugreek, Sweet Fennel and Black cumin in growth of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Results of Lab the extracts alcoholic, Concentrations 10, and 20 μg/ml giving to the highest percentage of inhibition from water extracts for both types of bacteria.   The study was designed to invetigate the effect of two plant growth regulators (GA3 and IAA)on growth and leaves volatile oils of sweet basil .      The plants were treated with 200ppm concentration for each of the bove regulators after 2 monthes  of planting ,after 2weeks of the first treatment and after month of the first treatment .     The results showed an increase in plant height 25,35% ,number of large leaves 20,40% and percentage of volatile oils 200,100%respectively after one month of first treatment.

The aerial part of Iraqi Anabasis aphylla (Chenopodiaceae) had been investigated for its alkaloidal contents.The alkaloid anabasine [2-(3-pyridyl)-piperidine] [1] & aphyllidine were isolated from an ethanolic extract of the plant. Isolation of the alkaloid was done by column chromatography followed by preperative thin layer chromatography.
