Thin films of CuPc of various thicknesses (150,300 and 450) nm have been deposited using pulsed laser deposition technique at room temperature. The study showed that the spectra of the optical absorption of the thin films of the CuPc  are two bands of absorption one in the visible region at about 635 nm, referred to as Q-band, and the second in ultra-violet region where B-band is located at 330 nm.    In this paper we introduce many different Methods of ridge regression to solve multicollinearity problem in linear regression model. These Methods include two types of ordinary ridge regression (ORR1), (ORR2) according to the choice of ridge parameter as well as generalized ridge regression (GRR). These methods were applied on a dataset suffers from a high degree of multicollinearity, then according to the criterion of mean square error (MSE) and coefficient of determination (R2) it was found that (GRR) method performs better than the other two methods.
 

   This study describes the determination of some phenols in four different zones of Tigris river in Iraq including, AL-Krieat, AL-Kadhimiya, AL-Jadiriyah, and AL-Adhamiyah. The  phenolic compounds analyzed were (2,3-dimethylphenol, 4-chlorophenol, 3-nitrophenol and 2,4-dinitrophenol) using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RPHPLC) with a UV detector on ODS-C18 column(150×4.6 mm I.D) and a mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(30:70)%(v/v) at pH 5.0, and a column temperature at 30C° with 20 µL injection. In some recent investigations, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and paracetamol demonstrated antibacterial action. This study aimed to evaluate the inhibitory effects of diclofenac, piroxicam, and paracetamol against multidrug-resistant Proteus mirabilis. The sensitivity of Proteus spp. was tested for nine antibiotics representing seven different families using an agar diffusion test. The isolates with multiple antibiotic resistances were selected to test the effect of NSAIDs and paracetamol on growth using a resazurin-based microplate broth dilution assay.
