Azadirachtin is a naturally occurring substance that belongs to an organic molecule class which is called tetranortriterpenoids. It is on of the most powerful plant derived insecticides known, its structure is similar to insect hormones called ecdysoncs (Molting Hormone), which control the process of metamorphosis. Azadirachtin has been isolated from fruits of Melia azedarach L. The structure of this compound was determined by spectral studies (IR spectra and GC Mass spectra) and denitrified by then layer chromotochraphy (TLC).
The limited availability of the two-circle diffractometer to collect intensity measurements down to the monoclinic system has been extended in a novel procedure to collect intensities for the triclinic system. The procedure involves the derivation of matrix elements from graphical representation of the reciprocal lattice. Offset of the origins of the upper layers from that of the zero-layer - characteristic of triclinic system - is determined and the 3 x 3 matrix elements are evaluated accordingly. Details of crystal alignment by X-rays for the triclinic system utilizing the intensities of equivalent reflections is described

The objectives of this study are to determine; the uniformity qn/q1 (ratio of the discharge at last outlet, qn to the discharge at first outlet, q1) and total head losses of the flow along straight and rectangular loop manifolds with different flow conditions. The straight pipes were with 18 m and 19 m long and with of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) in diameter each. In the present work a mathematical model has been used to simulate this process, this model taken in account the variation in the physical material properties and heat transfer coefficient for the surface of metal. A numerical scheme based on control finite volume method has been used. A computer program with C++ language was constricted to found the final solution of the numerical equations.The model was used to estimate the temperatures distribution and the hardness value at each point of the workpiece. Show MoreRecovery of copper from actual spent etchant cupric chloride solution used in manufacturing of printed circuit board (PCB) containing 124 g/l Cu+2 ions concentration and 60 g/l hydrochloric acid was investigated in a batch mode jacketed tank. This tank was constructed with inner dimensions of 19×10×15 cm3 . Cylindrical rode-shape titanium was used as cathode, while two rectangular shaped graphite were used as anodes. The parameters studied were: current density (0.16-0.30 A/cm2 ), copper concentration in etchant solution (30-124 g/l) and the temperature (25-45o C). The highest current efficiency obtained was about 92% and the lowest power consumption achieved was about 2.7 W.h/g within the temperature range 25-35o C.

Different percentages were added and two mechanisms were suggested for the addition. High ortho structure (1, 2-3) novolak resin was prepared and used in the above investigation. Experimental determination using FT-IR and UV-spectroscopy showed that on the addition of 30% of methanol and according to the second mechanism of addition novolak shelf life increased to 12 months without obvious decomposition and color change.
