Nanoscale Processing of Euphrates Poplar for Methylene Blue Removal
...Show More Authors

The potential of Euphrates poplar (EP) leaves, a plentiful agricultural waste, as a sustainable adsorbent for wastewater treatment is examined in this work. FTIR, FESEM, and XRD were used to characterize activated carbon (AC) derived from EP leaves by carbonizing them at 400°C for 3 hours. Brunauer found a surface area of 3.77 m²/g using the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) technique. Methylene blue (MB) adsorption trials showed that with an ideal contact time of 60 minutes, the removal efficiency exceeded 91%. Temperature and pH significantly affected the adsorption process, and the addition of EP nanoparticles enhanced dye uptake. According to kinetic modeling, the Temkin isotherm (R²= 0.904) provided the most accurate equilibrium f

Eco-friendly Green Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles from different Plant Extracts: Structural and Optical Characterization
...Show More Authors

To create nanoparticles of zinc oxide (ZnO), a green chemistry method was used. Using Cordia myxa (ZnO-C) and Ziziphus spina (ZnO-Z) extracts works like natural reduction and stabilization properties. The green process provided enhanced phytochemical interactions, which facilitated nanoparticle formation and improved stability. The concentrations of Zn and O elements were validated using energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The ZnO-C and ZnO-Z polycrystalline structures with a hexagonal wurtzite phase were validated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), where the average crystalline size is about 17.54 nm for ZnO-C, while for ZnO-Z it is equal to 16.809 nm. Study of Cubic Q-ideals in Q-algebras
...Show More Authors

The concept of cubic ideals is an important generalization in an algebraic structure. In this work, we introduce the notion of a cubic Q-sub-algebra and a cubic Q-ideal within a Q-algebra. Some properties of a cubic Q-ideal with a cubic BCK-ideal are studied, and a few results of these ideals are discussed. Such that every cubic Q-ideal is a cubic BCK-ideal, and the opposite is not true. Also, the concept of the level set of a Q-algebra as a cubic set is defined, and some important results associated with it have been shown. The relationship between a cubic Q-ideal and a Q-ideal with a cubic Q-sub-algebra and a Q-sub-algebra by the level set is proved. Finally, the image and the inverse image of cubic Q-ideals under a homomorphism are

Spherical Aromaticity of Tetrahedral Pnictogens Through Off ‐Nucleus Isotropic Magnetic Shielding
...Show More Authors

This work revealed the spherical aromaticity of some inorganic E4 cages and their protonated E4H+ ions (E=N, P, As, Sb, and Bi). For this purpose, we employed several evaluations like (0D-1D) nucleus independent chemical shift (NICS), multidimensional (2D-3D) off-nucleus isotropic shielding σiso(r), and natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis. The magnetic calculations involved gauge-including atomic orbitals (GIAO) with two density functionals B3LYP and WB97XD, and basis sets of Jorge-ATZP, 6-311+G(d,p), and Lanl2DZp. The Jorge-ATZP basis set showed the best consistency. Our findings disclosed non-classical aromatic characters in the above molecules, which decreased from N to Bi cages. Also, the results showed more aromaticity in E4 than E4H+

Gravitational lensing in WDM cosmologies: the cross-section for giant arcs
...Show More Authors

The nature of the dark sector of the Universe remains one of the outstanding problems in modern cosmology, with the search for new observational probes guiding the development of the next generation of observational facilities. Clues come from tension between the predictions from Λ cold dark matter (ΛCDM) and observations of gravitationally lensed galaxies. Previous studies showed that galaxy clusters in the ΛCDM are not strong enough to reproduce the observed number of lensed arcs. This work aims to constrain the warm dark matter (WDM) cosmologies by means of the lensing efficiency of galaxy clusters drawn from these alternative models. The lensing characteristics of two samples of simulated clusters in the Λ warm dark matter and ΛCDM

Detection of Silica in Rice Husks Using Laser-Induced Plasma and Studying the Effect of Laser Energy on the Parameters of the Produced Plasma
...Show More Authors

This study aims to analyze the spectral properties of plasma produced from rice husk(Rh) using the laser breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) method. The plasma generation process used the fundamental harmonic (1064 nm) of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. Yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) is a man-made crystalline material. The laser fired pulses with a duration of 10 ns and a repetition rate of 6 Hz. Thus, the energy outputs achieved were 50–200 mJ at the wavelength of 1064 (nm). The silica content in the rice hulls was verified using an XRF measurement, which revealed the presence of silica in the rice hulls in a high percentage. Precise beam focusing was achieved by focusing the laser on the target material. This target material is placed with

Side-Channel Attack-Resistant Smart Card Encryption Using Neural Signal Obfuscation

Crypto systems deployed in smart cards and embedded devices are vulnerable to side-channel attacks, in which adversaries exploit power consumption to recover secret keys. Correlation power analysis (CPA) and machine-learning-based attacks can break AES-128 implementations with relatively few traces. This work investigates Neural Signal Obfuscation (NSO) as a practical countermeasure for an AES-128 smart card-style implementation. We first acquire and characterize power traces from the target device and quantify baseline leakage using traces-to-disclosure (TTD), guessing entropy (GE), signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and the success rate of a neural network attacker. We then design and train a lightweight one-dimensional convolutional obfusca

Many scholars, such as Choquet, who is considered the first to lay the foundation stone for the concept of a grill and formulate its definition, were interested in studying it. After that, many attempts have been made to study the properties associated with this concept and to understand the relationships among these properties. There are several types of grill topological spaces, including discrete and cofinite topologies. This study presents the execution of an iterative technique suggested by Temimi and Ansari (TA) method to approximate solutions to a boundary value problem of a 4th-order nonlinear integro-differential equation (4th-ONIDE) of the type Kirchhoff which appears in the study of transverse vibration of hinged shafts. This problem is difficult to solve because there is a non-linear term under the integral sign, however, a number of authors have suggested iterative methods for solving this type of equation. The solution is obtained as a series that merges with the exact solution. Two examples are solved by TA method, the results showed that the proposed technique was effective, accurate, and reliable.
