      The effect of fiber volume fraction of the carbon fiber on the thermal conductivity of the polymer composite material was studied. Different percentages of carbon fibers were used (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%). Specimens were made in two groups for unsaturated polyester as a matrix and carbon fibers, first group has parallel arrangement of fibers and the second group has perpendicular arrangement of fibers on the thermal flow, Lee's disk method was used for testing the specimens. The influence of natural convection due to buoyancy on the laminar upwards air flow in a uniformly heated inclined circular cylinder has been experimentally studied. The investigation covered a wide range of Reynolds number (450≤Re≤2008), heat flux (95 ≤ q ≤ 898) W/m2, Rayligh number (1.1132×105 ≤ Ra ≤ 3.6982×105 ), with different angles of cylinder inclination α=0° (Horizontal), α=30°, α=60° (Inclined) and α=90° (Vertical).Results show that the heat transfer process improves as the angle of inclination moves from vertical to horizontal position. A general empirical equation for average Nusselt number Num as a function of Rayligh number Ra, Reynolds number Re and angle of inclination α was obtained.

    Objective: The present study investigated the effects of different dose levels of Zinc oxide Nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) on the liver and kidney tissues in albino male mice. Methadology: ZnO NPs was administrated as a daily oral dose of (150, 350 mg/kg body weight) gavage for 2 weeks. Eighteen male mices were used by dividing them into three groups. Result: Histopathological examination of kidney and hepatic tissues treated with ZnO NPs showed toxicity changes compared with control group. Conclusion:This study demonstrated the ability of ZnO NPs to affect on kidney and liver tissues. Recommendation: More study needed to know the effect of different doses of nanoparticles on human health.

Black paint laser peening (bPLP) technique is currently applied for many engineering materials , especially for aluminum alloys due to high improvement in fatigue life and strength . Constant and variable   bending fatigue tests have been performed at RT and stress ratio R= -1 . The results of the present  work observed that the significance of the surface work hardening which generated high negative residual stresses in bPLP specimens .The fatigue life  improvement factor (FLIF)  for bPLP constant fatigue behavior was from 2.543 to 3.3 compared to untreated  fatigue and the increase in fatigue strength at 10⁷ cycle was 21% .
