ABSTRACT:In this paper, Cd10–xZnxS (x = 0.1, 0.3, 0.5) films were deposited by using chemical spray pyrolysis technique, the molar concentration precursor solution was 0.15 M/L. Depositions were done at 350°C on cleaned glass substrates. X-ray dif- fraction technique (XRD) studies for all the prepared film; all the films are crystalline with hexagonal structure .The optical properties of the prepared films were studied using measurements from VIS-UV-IR spectrophotometer at wave- length with the range 300 - 900 nm; the average transmission of the minimum doping ratio (Zn at 0.1%) was about 55% in the VIS region, it was decrease at the increasing of Zn concentration in the CdS films, The band gap of the doped CdS films was varied as 3.7, 3

The preparation and characterization of the Cu (II), Co(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), and Hg(II) metal complexes of heterocyclic azo ligand 2-[(4`-sulphamide phenyl) azo] -4,5-diphenyl imidazole (4-SuBAI) have been studied by elemental analysis, FT-IR and UV-Vis Spectroscopic, magnetic moment and molar conductance methods. The analytical data showed that all chelate complexes were prepared with (metal-ligand) ratio of (1:2). The general formula of these complexes was [ML2X2]. nH2O [were L=2-[(4`-sulphamide phenyl) azo]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole and X=Cl, and the octahedral geometry were suggested for these complexes .

      The production of fission products during reactor operation has a very important effect on  reactor reactivity .Results of neutron cross section evaluations are presented for the main product nuclides considered as being the most important  for reactor calculation and burn-up consideration . Data from the main international libraries considered as containing the most up-to-date nuclear data   and the latest experimental measurements are considered in the evaluation processes, we describe the evaluated cross sections of the fission product nuclides by making inter comparison of the data and point out the discrepancies among libraries.

Biological study was conducted in the botanical garden of the College of Education / Ibn Al-Haitham during the growing season 2006-2007 to determine the impact different date planting and variety in some morphological characteristics of the wheat plant Triticum astivum L.       Two varieties of Triticum aestivum L.: IPA99 and Abu-Ghraib , were cultivated in 4th , 25th of November and 9th of December .      The experiment was designed according to RCD in two replicates.       The results showed that cultivation of 4th November, gave rise to plants of high 74.66 cm, with the highest number of tillers which was 4.01 and the highest length of spike was 12.03

        In the present study, we have reported investigations on the effect of simultaneous substitution of Tl at the Hg site in the oxygen deficient HgOδ layer of Hg1-xTlxBa2Ca2Cu3O8+ δ cuprate superconductor. Bulk polycrystalline samples were prepared by the two-step solid state reaction process. It was observed that the grown Hg1-xTlxBa2Ca2Cu3O8+ δ corresponds to the 1223 phase. Electrical resistivity, using four probe technique, is used to find the transition temperature Tc.       In this paper an algorithm for Steganography using DCT for cover image and DWT for hidden image with an embedding order key is proposed. For more security and complexity the cover image convert from RGB to YIQ, Y plane is used and divided into four equally parts and then converted to DCT domain. The four coefficient of the DWT of the hidden image are embedded into each part of cover DCT, the embedding order based on the order key of which is stored with cover in a database table in both the sender and receiver sender. The thermoelectric power (S) of thermal evaporated a-InAs films

were measured in the temperature rang (303-408) K.

These films were prepared at different thickness (250,350,450) nm and treated at different annealing temperatures (303,373,423,473,523) K.

The behaviour  of the thermoelectric power  studies of these films

as  a  function  of  thickness  and  annealing  temperature  showed  the thermoelectric  power an increasing trend with annealing temperature

This investigation was conducted to examine some physical and chemical properties of sand dunes collected from Basrah (1 '2 and 3) 'Nassiriya (4 and 5) and Amara (6) provinces that situated in lower Mesopotamia plain.

The results indicate clearly that the dominant particles in the samples were sand that were ranging from (81) % to (97) %, however the aggregated size of (0.1 - 0.25) mm were predominates in the investigated sand dunes of the region .
