Real Time Wireless Monitoring and Controlling of 3-D Single Point Incremental Tool

Maintenance of machine tools can be improved significantly by analyzing the operating of manufacturing process with the real-time monitoring system for 3-D single point deformation measurements. Therefore, the process of manufacturing could be optimized with less cost. Recently, wireless technology and internet of things (IOT) applied on intelligent machine has witnessed a significant advance with augmented virtuality, the analysis and the process certainly would contribute to enhance the intelligence of that machine. This paper presents a group of the wireless sensors and 3D animation technologies for data monitoring and analyzing. Three degree of freedom robotic hand structure has been selected as a prototype to be form the process of the

Study the Effect of Cutting Conditions for turning process on the Machined Surface

Surfaces quality is one of the most specified customer requirements for machine parts. The major indication of surfaces quality on machined parts is surface roughness. The research aim is to study the cutting conditions and their effects on the surface roughness. This paper utilizes regression models to predict surface roughness over the machining time for variety of cutting conditions in turning. In the experimental part for turning, different types of materials (Aluminum alloy, Copper alloy, and Gray cast iron) were considered with different cutting speed ( ) and feed rate ( ). A mathematical Model depending on statistical-mathematical method between surface roughness (Rz ) and cutting condition ( , ) were derived, for the three materials

Development of Wireless Controlling and Monitoring System for Robotic Hand Using Zigbee Protocol

Nowadays, the robotic arm is fast becoming the most popular robotic form used in the industry among others. Therefore, the issues regarding remote monitoring and controlling system are very important, which measures different environmental parameters at a distance away from the room and sets various condition for a desired environment through a wireless communication system operated from a central room. Thus, it is crucial to create a programming system which can control the movement of each part of the industrial robot in order to ensure it functions properly. EDARM ED-7100 is one of the simplest models of the robotic arm, which has a manual controller to control the movement of the robotic arm. In order to improve this control s

Controlling of Robot Hand by Using Microcontroller with Visual Basic

The robot arm is the most popular robotic form used in industry. Thus, it is crucial to make a system programming which could controlled the movement of each part in the industrial robot to make it works properly. One of the simplest models of the robot arm is EDARM ED-7100 which has a controller to control the movement of the robot arm manually. In this study, the robot controller has been redesigned in order to improve this robot's function. The new controller system used AT89S52 microcontroller which has wire connected to the robot hand. A function has been added with this controller to improve the system of controlling and becomes better than the previous system (only manually). The functions of the new system include three mo

Automatic Optimization System of Cutting Condition for Different Types of Machining Processes

This research aims at calculating the optimum cutting condition for various types of machining methods, assisted by computers, (the computer program in this research is designed to solve linear programs; the program is written in v. basic language). The program obtains the results automatically, this occur through entering the preliminary information about the work piece and the operating condition, the program makes the calculation actually by solving a group of experimental relations, depending on the type of machining method (turning, milling, drilling). The program was transferred to package and group of windows to facilitate the use; it will automatically print the initial input and optimal solution, and thus reduce the effort and t
