Huda H. Khalil is an Assoc. Prof. in the University of Baghdad. She holds the PhD degree in English language and Linguistics from the University of Baghdad. She has been teaching English language and linguistics related subjects in the University of Baghdad for B.A and M.A students since 2002. Her research interests are broad and include pragmatics, cognitive linguistics, critical linguistics, stylistics and semantics. She has a number of papers, within these interests, published in different national and international journals. Assoc. Prof. Khalil has supervised a number of M.A. theses and participated, as a member of examination committee, in a number of M.A thesis discussions.
