The effects of poles distances of a discharge tube (cathode and anode) were investigated. The distances(90,95,100,110,115,120,130,140)mm are considered. The influence of (25mT) parallel and (2mT) normal magnetic fields with respect to the discharge tube on electron temperature under a pressure of (6pascal) and (900volt) was studied by implementing double Langmuire probe into plasma.   The present study describes a protocol for rapid in vitro micropropagation of Albizia lebbeck during the period of October 2007 to October 2009 through nodal segments containing axillary buds. The buds induced to produce a large number of multiple shoots by culturing on MS medium supplemented with different concentrations of BA (benzyladenine) and NAA (α-naphthalene acetic acid). The maximum number of shoots per explants was obtained on MS medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/L BA and 0.1 mg/L NAA was (4.8) after 4 weeks of culture. Excised shoots were rooted on half strength MS medium fortified with 0.5 mg/L either IBA (indolbutyric acid) or NAA alone. The complete plantlets thus obtained were successfully transferred to soil.

   Petioles of nine species and four subspecies for Scutellaria L. which are growing wildly in Iraq were studied anatomically. Systmatic importance for the cross sections of those petioles were found. The winged petioles were seen in all taxa but they were different in their shapes , some of them U – shaped but they were semi ellipsoid in others , also they were different in their numbers of vascular bundles in the wings , and the shapes of central vascular bundles , so those  taxa were divided into groups .

A new proposed technique for secure agent communication is used to transfer data and instructions between agent and server in the local wireless network. The proposed technique depends on the two stages of encryption processing (AES algorithm and proposed Lagrange encryption key generation supported by XOR gate) for packets encryption. The AES key was manipulated by using proposed Lagrange interpolation key generated in order to avoid the weak encryption keys. A good multi encryption operation with a fast encryption time was proposed with a high quality connection operation.

     Multispectral remote sensing image segmentation can be achieved using a multithresholding technique. This paper studies the effect of changing the window size of the two dimensional (2D) fast Otsu algorithm that presented by Zhang. From the results, it shown that this method behaves as a search machine for the valleys (an automatic threshold), between the gray levels of the histogram with changing the size of slide window.

    The adsorption study of thymol, was carried out at (25±0.1) ^°C, using granulated surfactant modified Iraqi Na – montmorillonite clay (initiated modified bentonite); in a down-flow packed column, the modified mineral was characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy.  A linear calibration graph for thymol was obtained, which obey Beer's law in the concentration range of 5-50 mg/L at 274 nm against reagent blank. The study includes the phytoplankton compositions in Alaaras Lake , in summer 2008 and winter , spring , summer 2009. Samples were collected from three selected sites at north , middle and south of lake. A total of 74 taxa of phytoplankton were identified .
