Separation and Extraction Micro Amount of Cadmium (II) and Mercury (II) with Liquid Anion Exchange Method
...Show More Authors

For extraction chloro anion complexes of Cd2+ and Hg2+ used many organic agents as extractant according to liquid ion exchange method such as α-Naphthyl amine (α-NA), 4-Amino benzoic acid (4-ABA), 2-[(4-Carboxy methyl phenyl) azo]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole (4CMePADPI) and Cryptand (C222). This study includes definition hydrochloric acid concentration in aqueous phase and shaking with organic phase necessary for extraction as well as shaking time, organic solvent effect, interferences and alkaline salt effect. Thermodynamic showed the ion exchange reaction was exothermic for α-NA, C222 and endothermic for 4-ABA, 4-CMePADPI for extraction CdCl4=, but for extraction HgCl4= was exothermic with 4-ABA, 4CMePADPI and C222 but

The Effect of Brucellosis on Lipid Profile and Oxidant-Antioxidants Status
...Show More Authors

The activation of inflammatory cells, the release of their mediators, and the excessive production of free radicals may affect circulating lipids, but no evidence supports a role for peroxidation in the pathogenesis of Brucellosis disease. The aim of this work is to study the effect of Brucellosis on lipid profile concentration and oxidant-antioxidant status. We studied 20 Brucellosis patients (18 Females and 2 males) and 15 healthy controls (age average from 16 to 60 years old). Significant differences were noted between the serum lipids of Brucellosis patients and control group. Mean total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-cholesterol) concentrations were higher in patients than in control group (mean ± SE 197

Samples prepared by using carbon black as a filler material and phenolic resin as a binder. The samples were pressed in a (3) cm diameter cylindrical die to (250)MPa and treated thermally within temperature range of (600-1000)oC for two and three hours. Physical properties tests were performed, like density, porosity, and X-ray tests. Moreover vicker microhardness and electric resistivity tests were done. From the results, it can be concluded that density was increased while porosity was decreased gradually with increasing temperature and treating time. In microhardness test, it found that more temperature and treating time cause more hardness. Finally the resistivity was decreased in steps with temperature and treating time. It can be c

Polar Gap Properties for Neutron StarWithin Light Cylinder Limits
...Show More Authors

The huge magnetic fields of neutron star cause the nuclei of the stellar surface to form a tightly bound condensed layer. In this research some characteristics of polar gap and magnetosphere enclosed the star according to Sturrock Model were illustrated, positrons move out along the open field lines, and electrons flow to the stellar surface as in the related to Sturrock model. The magnetic field within polar gap areas, which is defined by the Irvin Radius (RL) decreases due to the expansion of the polar, resulting from the physical motion of the accreted material. The values of height gap at different distances from the star were estimated. The obtained results improve the most energetic positrons those with E? Emax radiate away their ener
