       In this work, a pollution-sensitive Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF) based on Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) technology is designed and implemented for sensing refractive indices and concentrations of polluted  water . The overall construction of the sensor is achieved by splicing short lengths of PCF (ESM-12) solid core on one side with traditional multimode fiber (MMF) and depositing a gold nanofilm of 50nm thickness on the end of the PCF sensor. Heat treatment by solid solution method in the ?+? phase region was used at 970°C for Ti-5Al-2.5Fe alloy. The specimens cooled under different cooling media [water quenched (WQ), air cooled (AC) and furnace cooled (FC)], and subsequently aged at 550°C for 4 hours. Five specimens from each treatment were immersed in simulated body fluid SBF for a period of time (3 months). The concept of -closedness, a kind of covering property for topological spaces, has already been studied with meticulous care from different angles and via different approaches. In this paper, we continue the said investigation in terms of a different concept viz. grills. The deliberations in the article include certain characterizations and a few necessary conditions for the -closedness of a space, the latter conditions are also shown to be equivalent to -closedness in a - almost regular space. All these and the associated discussions and results are done with grills as the prime supporting tool.
