Free vibration solution will be developed for laminated simply supported closed cylindrical shells. This solution is obtained using General Third Shell Theory (G.T.T.). Also the critical in-plane fatigue load is studied and the required equilibrium equations are developed, the effects of tension or compression in-plane load on the natural frequencies are discussed also. The natural frequencies and in-plane fatigue load results are very close to those obtained by other researchers.

under imposed structure load. The high excessive settlements of the soft soil can cause many
problems for the structures built on the soil like cracking and breakup of pavements, railway,
highway embankments, etc...

analyses of embankments on soft ground with different conditions. The computer program CRISP
(CRItical State Program) is developed to suit the problem requirements. CRISP uses the finite

In order to determine Candida Species isolates that associated with urogenital infection in women,174 vaginal swabs and 66 urine samples were collected from pregnant and non-pregnant women suffering from urogenital tract infection whom visted teaching Al-way hospital during the peroid from January to October 2011. The results showed that 32 out of 174 vaginal swabs were Candida Spp positive (18.3%), high percentage was reported in June and July (25%) for each one and no fungal isolates were recorded in March .The results also explained that high percentage of fungal isolates was recorded in pregnant women (68.7%) as comparing with non-pregnant women (31.2%) .Thirty –two fungal isolates were recorded which included : C.albicans(43.7%);

The primary aim of the present study was to prepare a set of exercises on the multi-resistor VertiMax device and to identify the effect of these exercises on the development of the endurance of discus throwers under 16 years old. The design of the present study was experimental. Participants were selected using purposive sampling method. A total of 5 discuss players constituted the sample of the study. The authors found a significant improvement in the levels of endurance and performance as a result of the training on the VertiMax device. Therefore, it is recommendable to use exercises on the VertiMax device to improve the endurance and performance of under 16-years of age discus throwers.

Background: Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease. Many etiological agents are proposed to play a role in its pathogenecity. One of these factors is cytokines such as Interleukin6.
Material & Methods: ELISA method has been used for IL-6 estimation in 75 RA patients in comparison with 61 SLE as patient controls and 39 apparently healthy controls.
Results: This study showed that there was an elevation of IL-6 in the sera of RA patients with high significant differences between RA patients and controls (P< 0.001). Moreover a good correlation between IL-6 level & RF titer were observed. However, for most patients with high IL-6 were shown to be HLA-DR4.
