The contribution of the arts to interdisciplinary sciences: Art Therapy
...Show More Authors

The history of the arts is closely connected with the history of humankind, since it is impossible to separate our scientific and artistic advances’. Therefore, the current research focuses on the close bond between art and other disciplines. The connection of the arts to the sciences is unequivocal and undisputed; the contributions of artists to the various scientific domains are clear. If one scrutinises the ability of artists to participate in building societies, one will find that the arts have penetrated deeply into a range of products and inventions, starting with the pencil and ending with the missile. The artist’s contributions play a part in the minutest of details across all fields of industry: production, craftsmanship, me

ANALYSIS OF DROUGHT-TOLERANT GENOTYPES IN SORGHUM USING MULTIVARIATE ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES
...Show More Authors

This study was conducted during the spring and   fall seasons of 2024. The results showed a significant positive correlation between the three indices and productivity under both drought stress conditions (Ys) and non-stress conditions (Yp). This indicates that these indices are effective in identifying Genotype with high productivity potential in both scenarios. In the spring season, the superior Genotype were G7 (Giza 113), G14 (ACSAD 51), G15 (ACSAD 56), G20 (ACSAD 62), and G23 (ACSAD 66). In fall season, the top-performing Genotype were G8 (Tabet), G10 (Uruk), G17 (ACSAD 47), G20 (ACSAD 58), and G25 (ACSAD 68). All these Genotype demonstrated drought tolerance with high productivity under both stressed and non-stres

An Efficient Design for the DVB-S2 Forward Link System Outer Layer Encoding Based on PCC Turbo Coding Across Fading Channel

The most significant challenges wireless broadcasting systems face are channel effects and Inter Symbol Interference (ISI). Many different kinds of channel coding are employed to get around these issues. Digital Video Broadcasting for Satellite Telecommunication Second Generation (DVB-S2) uses a serial concatenation of Bose, Ray-Chaudhuri, and Hocquenghem (BCH) code and Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) code as a Forward Error Correction (FEC) for error detection purpose and correction. In this work, a MATLAB code (m-files) is constructed to simulate the standard DVB-S2 Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation (BICM) system according to the ETSI Technical Report (EN 302 307 1). Conformal projection is one of the most important aspects that geodesy dealing with. The
determination of the scale factors in the meridian, the parallel and projected geodesic directions are the
final result of the conformal projection. Methods for determining the scale factors in the meridian and

geodesic have different accuracy and computation complicity.
This research adopts a modified method for computing the exact value of scale factor in

Electrocoagulation is an electrochemical process of treating polluted water where sacrificial anode corrodes to produce active coagulant (usually aluminum or iron cations) into solution. Accompanying electrolytic reactions evolve gas (usually as hydrogen bubbles). The present study investigates the removal of phenol from water by this method. A glass tank with 1 liter volume and two electrodes were used to perform the experiments. The electrode connected to a D.C. power supply. The effect of various factors on the removal of phenol (initial phenol concentration, electrode size, electrodes gab, current density, pH and treatment time) were studied. The results indicated that the removal efficiency decreased as initial phenol concentration

DFT and experimental investigation of a novel 1,2,4-triazole derivative as a corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel A106 G/B in HCl solution

This work introduces a newly synthesized triazole derivative, 5-([(2-furanyl)methyl]-thiomethyl)-4-(naphtha-2-yl)-3-hydroxyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole (FTNT), as an effective corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel A106 G/B in 0.1 M HCl solution. The structure of the novel derivative was confirmed by FTIR, 1 H NMR, and 13 C NMR spectra. Potentiodynamic polarization measurements reveal that FTNT markedly suppresses corrosion, with inhibition efficiency reaching 81.6% at 600 ppm. Thermodynamic analysis indicates spontaneous, physisorption/chemisorption-augmented adsorption of FTNT on the steel surface, best described by the Freundlich isotherm. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) surface examination demonstrated that a protective FTNT coating precipitated on

The FBLC includes designing a nonlinear control law for the stabilization of the target dynamic system while the closed-loop dynamics are linear with ensured stability. The objective of the FAT is to estimate the cubic nonlinear restoring force vector using the linear parameterization of weighting and orthogonal basis function matrices. Orthogonal Chebyshev polynomials are used as strong approximators for adaptive schemes. The ancient part of the city (Shorja) is affected by seepage from local agricultural areas causing relatively high heavy metals concentration in groundwater. The selection of polluted site depended on the highest TDS value (3856 mg/L) associated with the highest heavy metal concentrations (Pb, Ni, Co and Zn) in groundwater. This study focuses on the evaluation of natural attenuation effectivity for long-term protection of groundwater quality using realistic three-dimensional reactive-transport groundwater model. Load balancing will lead to reduce processing time and memory usage that are the most two concerns of the network companies in now days, and they are the most two factors that determine if the approach is worthy applicable or not. There are two kinds of load balancing, distributing jobs among other servers before processing starts and stays at that server to the end of the process is called static load balancing, and moving jobs during processing is called dynamic load balancing. In this research, two algorithms are designed and implemented, the History Usage (HU) algorithm that statically balances the load of a Loaded
