The antiviral activity of leaf extracts from Datura stramonium and tomato plants inoculated with TMV, combined with 20% skimmed milk, was investigated. A TMV isolate was confirmed using bioassay, serological, and molecular approaches and subsequently used to inoculate plants. Tomato plants, both pre- and post-inoculated with TMV, were sprayed with leaf extracts from either TMV-free or infected plants, alone or mixed with 20% skimmed milk. One hundred and six S. aureus were isolated from 250 Nasal swabs of
Healthcare workers and patients at Al- Kadhamia teaching Hospital and Al-

This research includes new series of polymers were synthesized starting from polymerization of poly maleic anhydride (3), which were mono esterfication with absolute methanol to give polymer (4 ), then the acid side chlorination with thionyl chloride to give polymer (5) , which was subjected to esterfication with two different protected sugar moiety (1 and 2 ) to afford modified polymers (6 and 7). The object of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of safranin O (SFO), dye removal with application of Thuja orientalis as a low-cost biosorbent. The biosorption equilibrium level was determined as a function of pH, adsorbent dose, contact time and temperature. Surface area and pore size distribution were measured for the adsorbent. Thuja has a good removal effeciency for SFO dye. The adsorption kinetics data were best fit for the pseudo-second order kinetic (the regression coefficient = 0.999). Fifteen blood samples were collected from healthy males and females (6 males &
9 females), average age (21-34 years) in heparinized sterile tubes. The extracellular
protease was extracted from a clinical isolate of Serratia marcescens that was

The calcination treatments and a binder of poly acrylic acid PAA (1wt%)
effects on kaolinite particles were investigated through dielectric properties at
1MHz ,quantitative analysis of X-ray diffraction and microstructure. The calcinated

The aim of this paper is to study the effects of a magnetic field on unsteady flow of a viscoelastic fluid with the fractional Burgers' model between two parallel plates .The fractional calculus approach is introduced to establish the constitutive relationship of the viscoelastic fluid. Closed form solutions for velocity and shear stress are obtained by using the finite Fourier sine transform and discrete Laplace transform of the sequential fractional derivatives. This study investigated the role of sunflower (Helianthus annuns L.) seed extracts as a cytotoxic agent against two cell lines (RD and L20B) using different concentrations of sunflower seeds oil 1.3 , 2.6 , 5.2, 10.4 , 20.8, 41.6 , 83.2 and 166.4 μg / ml for different exposure time (24 ,48 and 72 hrs). The results revealed a clear cytotxoic activity of sunflower seeds oil on growth of RD cancer cell line, and the effect was concentration-dependent.

Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) of Campylobacter coli was extracted by using
digestive enzyme and hot phenol method. The effect of LPS on lymphocyte
transform was studies by lymphocyte transformation index for twenty blood samples
were collected from apparently healthy control.
The results were showed significant differences (P< 0.05) between samples which
treatrd with phytohemagglutnin PHA (66.1 ± 0.6) and the samples which treated
with LPS of C. coli (74.2 ± 0.8) when compared with control, this lead to suggest
that the LPS extracted from C. coli may play a role as a mitogen to transformed
lymphocytes.
