This study was concerned on the production of Bacillus anthracis
toxin and its use as a vaccine. Two groups of guinea pigs were
immunized with the toxin which was given in a dose of 0.5 ml
subcutaneously to the 1st group while the animals of the 2nd group were
immunized by instillation in the nose 4 drops into each naris. The two
groups were given booster dose 14 days after the 1st dose. The immunized
and control animals were bled by cardiac puncture 20 days after the
booster dose.
In the present study, anthraxin was used as an antigen in Enzyme
Linked Immuno Sorbant Assay (ELISA) to measure the optical density
(OD) obtained from adminsteration of vaccine in two different routes.

Standardized uptake values, often known as SUVs, are frequently utilized in the process of measuring 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake in malignancies . In this work, we investigated the relationships between a wide range of parameters and the standardized uptake values (SUV) found in the liver.  Examinations with 18F-FDG PET/CT were performed on a total of 59 patients who were suffering from liver cancer. We determined the SUV in the liver of patients who had a normal BMI (between 18.5 and 24.9) and a high BMI (above 30) obese. This work was conducted to study the ability of locally prepared Zeolite NaY for the reduction of sulfur compounds from Iraqi natural gas by a continuous mode adsorption unit. Zeolite Y was hydrothermally synthesized using abundant kaolin clay as aluminum precursor. Characterization was made using chemical analysis, XRD and BET surface area. Results of the adsorption experiments showed that zeolite Y is an active adsorbent for removal H2S from natural gas and other gas streams. The effect of temperature was found inversely related to the removal efficiency. Increasing bed height was found to increase the removal efficiency at constant flow rate of natural gas.
