أجريت هذه الدراسة لتوضيح حالة الاصابة بطفيلي المشعرات في الحمام. تم فحص 168 حمامة داجنة  Columba livia domestica من المناطق المختلفة لمحافظة بغداد أبتداء من تشرين الثاني 2012 وحتى ايلول 2013. تمت دراسة الاعراض السريرية والافات المرضية العيانية لذكور، اناث وزغاليل الحمام المصابة طبيعياً بطفيلي T.gallinae.

In this work, yttrium oxide particles (powder) reinforced AL-Si matrix composites (Y2O3/Al-Si) and Chromium oxide particles reinforced AL-Si matrix composites (Cr2O3/AL-Si) were prepared by direct squeeze casting. The volume percentages of yttrium oxide used are (4, 8.1, 12.1, 16.1 vol %) and the volume percentages of the chromium oxide particles used are (3.1, 6.3, 9.4, 12.5 vol. %). The parameters affecting the preparation of Y2O3/Al-Si and Cr2O3/AL-Si composites by direct squeeze casting process were studied. This study was conducted to know thehematological changes of anemia in horsesat equestrian club in Baghdad. Blood samples were collected from 151 horses of both sexes(74 male and 77 female) and different agesrandomly. The study includedred blood cells count, white blood cells, hemoglobin, packed cell volume and differential blood smears, togetherwith erythrocyte sedimentation rate readings. Nephrotoxicity is one of the major complications and clinical limitations of gentamicin. This study aimed to evaluate the nephroprotective effect of dapsone against gentamycin-induced nephrotoxicity in rats.

Twenty-four healthy rats weighing between (270-300) g were equally divided into three groups, eight rats in each group:  control group received normal saline (2mL/kg/day I.P.) for 10 days , gentamicin group received (100 mg/kg/day I.P.) for 10 days, and dapsone group received (5 mg/kg/day p.o) concomitantly with gentamicin (100 mg/kg/day I.P.) for 10 days. Physicochemical indicated that myoglobin concentration, was low for all sample of meat with
no significant differences in marks which were 163.3 – 178.7 mg/100g meat. Total volatile
nitrogen (TVN) values were more the allowance limits especially in food and mark which
were 20.4mgN/100g meat with no significant differences in marks. Thiobarbituric acid (TBA)
