This study aimed to prepare and characterize  a gas sensor based on porous silicon embedded with CdS using the laser-assisted chemical bath deposition method. Three identically designed systems named designate as MFC-CW, CW1,and CW2 were constructed and setup in this study for simultaneous biotreatment of real petroleum refinery wastewater (PRW) and bioelectricity generation. This study was aimed to identify dermatophytic selective isolate using PCR technique as a rapid molecular assay. The results of this study showed among 60 samples of patients suffering from ringworm  disease. forty isolates (66%) were Trichophyton  mentagrophytes  which diagnosed as dermatophytosis according to morphological and cultural methods. In order to investigate the ability of isolates to keratin analyses using solid medium supplemented with keratin azure , the results revealed that 20 isolates appeared best ability to keratin analysis and nine isolates had best ability for keratinase production in submerged culture.

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of coconut shell-derived biochar supplementation in Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium to suppress contamination and enhance regeneration efficiency. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 11 biochar concentrations (0–5 g/L) was used, each with three replicates. Parameters observed included contamination and browning onset, browning intensity, propagule formation time, fresh weight, shoot number, and shoot height. Results showed that biochar significantly delayed contamination and browning. The 2 g/L treatment yielded the best results: 13.8 days after culture (DAC) for contamination and 12.67 DAC for browning.  This study utilized 100 local Iraqi laying hens, aged 67 days, which were individually housed in numbered cages (1 to 100) for the duration of the experiment, conducted from October 26, 2021, to March 5, 2022. The results revealed highly significant differences (P ≤ 0.01) in the number and frequency of the LEI0234 marker among the different alleles, with the A1 allele showing superior performance compared to the other alleles. This study aimed to investigate the impact of fish oil levels on the growth performance, feed efficiency, and body composition of common carp. The study divided 56 common carp into four treatment groups and fed diets containing different levels of fish oil over 56 days. Results showed significant differences in growth performance and feed efficiency between the treatments. The T3 (1.5% fish oil) and T4 (2% fish oil) groups showed the highest weight gain and most efficient feed conversion ratio, suggesting that 1.5% fish oil may support growth outcomes like those with 2% fish oil. Body composition analyses revealed favorable protein-to-fat ratios, suggesting improved nutrient retention and lean growth with reduced fish oil levels.

The goal of this research is to detect flavonoids in Polygonum multiforum and use these extracts in the phyto-synthesis of (CdO NPs) Nano-particles (CdO, CdO2) and characterize them.  The HPLC examination yielded five compounds: Emodin (29.55%), followed by Aloe-emodin (24.52%), Chrysophanol (19.24%), Rhein (16.61%), and Physcion (10.06%).
