Cultural awareness is becoming increasingly important in an effort to reinvigorate local urban heritage into modern production. Considering that, one of the most significant aspects of sustainability is preserving socio-cultural and environmental specificities and restoring local heritage. The aim is influencing the local identity by promoting sustainability through the revival of Islamic geometric patterns (IGP) and their performance as effective components in local urban facades. A set of indicators related to the purposes for reusing IGP in facades within three main performances (decorative, structural, and functional). Their sustainability was studied and extrapolated, and a checklist has developed and tested by Likert scale on fifty residential facades in Baghdad's districts. The findings demonstrated the feasibility of measuring urban sustainability by evaluating the effectiveness of Islamic geometric patterns on residential facades. Furthermore, it has clearly achieved in the decorative performance of the IGP. It has also attained functional performance on the Socio-Cultural side, with a weakness in its environmental performance. In contrast, the checklist revealed a flaw in its structural performance.
This study was conducted at the Poultry Research Station in Abu Ghraib, Department of Agricultural Research, Ministry of Agriculture, the experimental field during three months (Three terms for a period of four weeks), from 10 th of December 2019 to the 10 th of January 2020. The study aimed to determine the effect of using different proportions of chlorella algae in layer hen ration and its effect on the hen's productive performance and numbers of lactobacilli bacteria in the intestine. The experiment included 400 laying hens (ISA Brown) of 54 week old which were fed according to the standard requirements mentioned in the guide for this breed (ISA Brown layer management guide). The hens raised using a 3 stage cages system with five hens in

This technique is important to test the carry-outs hydrophobic silica to temperature without high-quality material changes in the basic characteristics. The hot-wire technique is used in this work to examine the thermal conductivity, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) depended to characterize the bonds and their artificial by heating. The aim of this study is to investigate: the performance of the pile groups subjected to lateral loads; in which the pile batter inclination angle is changed; the effect of pile spacing (s/d) ratio, the influence of using different number of piles and pile group configuration. Results revealed that the performance of single negative (Reverse) Battered piles with inclination of 10° and 20° show a gain of 32% and 76 % in the ultimate lateral capacity over the regular ones. For pile groups, the use of a combination of regular, negative and positive battered piles in

However, the computation of high-order DRPs presents significant numerical and computational challenges. Even though the recent advancements in algorithms have improved numerical stability, the inherently sequential nature of these algorithms continues to be a bottleneck for large-scale implementations. This paper proposes a new multithreading-based algorithm for computing the DRP coefficients. The proposed algorithm is designed to accelerate the computation of high-order DRPs by considering the advantages of the independence of different tasks and the ability to process mu

Materials and methods: The 72specimens cube-shaped have the dimension of about 11 mm in width, 14 mm in length, 1mm in thickness, these cores divided into 3 groups according to the type of material each group have (24)core specimens. Each group had been divided into three sub-groups (each having 8 specimens) according to veneering with dentin ceramic thicknesses: as 0.5, 1, or 2 mm (n=8). IPS e.max press and ZirCAD c

In some cases, soil strength and/or other properties are not adequate and require improvement using one of the ground improvement techniques. Stone column is one of the common improvement techniques in which a column of stone is installed vertically in clayey soils. Stone columns are usually used to increase soil strength and to accelerate soil consolidation by acting as vertical drains. Many researches have been done to estimate the behavior of the improved soil. However, none of them considered the effect of stone column geometry on the behavior of the circular footing. The study relied on analyzing the population data of the city of Al Hillah for a period of time (22 years) for the period (2000-2022). This data was analyzed and its role in planning and designing residential areas and neighborhoods in the Al Hillah city was analyzed based on the standards of urban planning and sustainable growth of cities. Landsat 5TM was used in the investigation, Landsat 8OLI satellite data to retrieve the NDVI, NDBI, and NDWI. The findings showed th
