In this work two moles of 2-amino benzothiazole were allowed to react with one mole of pyromellitic dianhydride to produce N,N‾-Bis-(benzathiazol-2-yl) pyromellitamic diacid [I] which was submitted to esterification via the reaction with dimethyl sulphate in sodium carbonate in acetone as a solvent to synthesize N,N‾-bis-(benzothiazol-2-yl) pyromellitam diacetate [II] .This ester was used to produce novel compounds through two paths :- Path one:- Reaction of ester [II] with hydrazine in ethanol as a solvent to form the corresebonding N,N‾-bis (benzothiazole-2-yl) –pyromellitamic acid hydrazide [III] which react with acetyl acetone in ethanol or with phthalic anhydride in dioxane to yield new pyrazole, N,N‾-bis[(2-amidobenzothiazol) 3,5-dimethyl pyrazole] pyromellitic [IV] . and new imide; N,N‾-bis-[(2-amidobenzothiazol)-amido phthalimide] pyromellit [V] respectively. Path two:- Reaction of ester [II] with thiosemicarbazide to form bis [N,N‾(2amidobenzothiazole) thiosemicarbazide] pyromellitic acid [VI] ,which is converted to triazole. bis[N,N‾ (2-amido benzothiazol) 1,2,4-triazole -3-yl] pyromellit [VII] under basic condition treatment of the last product with different alkyl halides to give new series of thioalkyl triazoles; bis [N,N-(2-amido benzothiazole)-5-thio alkyl 1,2,4-triazole-3-yl] pyromellit[VIII]n All the above compoundes were characterized by their melting points, elemental analysis and by their spectral data,FTIR and 1HNMR for (some of them).

The aim of this study is to describe the leech species that are used in some of the alternative medicine clinics in Baghdad Province based on morphometric measurements and colouring pattern of the body. A collection of twenty leeches was provided from some clinics. All specimens were identified and described based on standard available keys. The morphometric characteristics and colouring patterns were recorded and the indicated that these leeches were Hirudo orientalis Utevsky & Trontelj, 2005 and H. verbana Carena, 1820.

The design is based on a p-shaped wide-slot structure with microstrip feeding circuit to eliminate losses of transmission. The design parameters are optimized resulting in a good reflection coefficient at −10 dB from 4.5 to 10.9 GHz. Imaging result using inhomogeneous breast phantom indicates that the proposed antenna is capable of detecting a 5 mm size cancerous tumor embedded inside the fibroglandular region with dielectric contrast between the target and the surrounding materials ranging from 1.7 : 1 to 3.6 : 1.

This investigation aims to explore the potential of waterworks sludge (WS), low-cost byproduct of water treatment processes, as a sorbent for removing Congo Red (CR) dyes. This will be achieved by precipitating nano-sized (MgAl-LDH)-layered double hydroxide onto the surface of the sludge. The efficiency of utilizing MgAl-LDH to modify waterworks sludge (MWS) for use in permeable reactive barrier technology was confirmed through analysis with Fourier transform infrared and X-ray diffraction. The isotherm model was employed to elucidate the adsorption mechanisms involved in the process. Furthermore, the COMSOL model was utilized to establish a continuous testing model for the analysis of contaminant transport under diverse conditions.

The Reasons behind the decadence of the studies concerning the evening school in Salah al Deen A field study
Twenty bacterial isolates were identified as Staphylococcus aureus collected from wounds and catheters related infections. A capsulated S. aureus isolate was chosen after performing serum soft agar test, for this study Neutropenic mice were challenged with capsulated S. aureus ,and the effect of G-CSF with or without moxifloxacin was studied. The results indicated that the addition of G-CSF to moxifloxacin therapy have a synergistic effect in the killing of the bacteria, while when each G-CSF and moxifloxacin were used seperately have a similar effect on bacterial killing. It was found that the moxifloxacin has the same activity as G_CSF but is less costly than the latter one.
